I recently decided to move from my apartment up north to a new one downtown. I was very stressed out about moving because I had accumulated some heavy furniture that I couldn't move by myself. My mom and I decided last minute to book a moving company solely to move my heavy furniture, roughly around 7 items. Moving company couldn't get their act together. Move was scheduled for 8am. My first call was at 8:50am when they hadn't arrived and I was not contacted. I made 7 other calls throughout the day with excuses like "they have to unload a truck first", "we had to send the driver home bc he was medicated", "I have to get a rental truck bc none are available", "we're switching crews ", etc. My last call was at 4:34 pm advising that there was still no truck (they promised it would be at my house by 4:15) and that there was no way t... read more

First I was told that mine would be the second move of the day. then they showed up at 8;30 am and I wasn't ready for them and so was told they'd would come back in the afternoon. after several phone calls, I realized weren't coming and had to be out by tomorro. so I cancelled and have scheduled College hunks to move tomorrow.

Scam. I requested help moving a very heavy couch. I was quoted $135 over the phone, and that was stated definitively. As a matter of fact. A flat fee. I order service for the next day. Next morning I received an estimate totaling $1500. Additional fuel charge, not disclosed or hinted to, additional charge based on the weight of the item, not disclosed or hinted to, additional charge for using their moving tools, not disclosed or hinted, additional charged for travel time, not disclosed or hinted.

A friend had highly recommended All My Sons Moving. I wish I had read the Yelp reviews before hiring this company. The scheduling was easy and the movers arrived on time. We are moving into a brand new build with beautiful hardwood floors. They left a large, deep scratch by not properly moving furniture. I had paid for the extra insurance (up to $5000 I was told). They had to reschedule the move date. We had told them we needed to move several very heavy things. They showed up with only 3 of the 4 guys they said they'd send, and those were three of the skinniest, whimpiest guys you've ever seen. Ultimately, they were not able to move all of the items that we had arranged for them to move, and it took much longer than it needed to because they were so puny.

These guys are awful! Matt might be the biggest liar of all time. Was supposed to have a Saturday Morning (11/15) move. Real quick, just a single bedroom apartment moving into a house 5 minutes down the road. Was told when I booked that I would probably be the first move of the day just because of how easy it would be for both parties. Do NOT book with this company, they are an extremely deceitful business. They send quotes with false information, change included services and then get frustrated when questioned. Mike and Matt should not be in positions of management. We were given at least 4 different times from 10AM to 5PM and they never showed up, even after being told the movers were in route, we were canceled.
