I have never written or have a bad review but this one I have to. I called All My Sons because my elderly mother wanted to use them to move. She has COPD, has two replaced knees, and really needs help but I live in Texas. My siblings were able to help her pack and clean and I said I would contribute by helping pay for movers. I hired All My Sons for a short three-mile move, mostly consisting of tubs and boxes, with only two pieces of furniture. Unfortunately, they completely broke one of them. The item was worth $250, but because I didn't purchase additional insurance, they're only offering $50 in compensation based on their policy of 60 cents per pound. Timeliness, Adhering to instructions, client communication/ customer service. We had a complicated move (we moved to 2 locations). The movers were to load a Pod for an out of state move, and a standard moving truck for a local move. We labeled all items for the Pod or local and boxed and labeled most items. Multiple items broken including 2 tv. Paid over $4000.00. Compliments to Mike and Charlie they were very respectful and I felt they were sincere. Do not use this company. they charge for consumables that we provided example: tape. the move was scheduled for 01/31/2025, they did not come until 02/01/25. they used my tape. and charged me for 6 rolls $30. they used 1 roll of cling wrap and charged me for 3 at $75 a roll. my quote of $389 (if the move took 2 hours or less) with $100 down turned to $1269 the day of, meaning they had all my stuff in their truck and would not unload until payment was received. The Very Worst! Do. Not. Use. The quote a reasonable hourly rate and then move as slow as they possibly can. It took them 8.5 hours to move 20-25 pieces of furniture, NO boxes! One time they smelled like weed. They disappeared during travel. With detailed direction on where to go, they just parked in a parking lot and waited for me to call them. I will start by saying that the people I came in contact with during this move were friendly. However, sometimes you get what you pay for. They handled my move with blatant disregard for my things. They lacked materials needed, some things weren't wrapped or packed correctly and the busted my furniture scratched and dented it and then didn't want to compensate me for it. I wouldn't recommend!

After reading through all these reviews it seems to be the same old story. Give you one quote that sounds good. But then after they have your stuff they basically hold it hostage until you pay double what they quoted you. Same story here. After all my complaints I was sent a docusign to sign if I wanted there good faith money of $150. It was so insulting. And I told the so. So I never signed it. First let me make it clear that the two guys who actually moved my 2-pc cabinet were great! Other than that, it left me frustrated and cost twice what they quoted me. When I asked the person taking my payment why it doubled, all he would say was that I'd get a detailed invoice and he was just going by what was on the screen. They won't release your property until you pay. They charged me almost $700 to move a 2-pc cabinet about 20 miles, no stairs... and it took 2hours longer than they told me because they actually did anoth... read more

This company is slick. Stay away. I have to say my movers did a good job. They were polite, efficient and took care with my items, but the way this company does it's pricing is very deceiving. During my first call I was told $159/hour for 2 guys plus travel time of 1 hour at $159 and yes, they will safely pack all my belongings. Second call is where it gets sketchy. They confirm everything and then say they can package things nicely since I was storing them in my barn and that packing material would be extra. Told them I did... read more
