I wish Zero Stars was an option. This is the very worst moving company I have ever hired and we have moved 6 times. When I booked them I explained that we were moving 2 households into one. I specifically outlined the details of what was needed. The person I spoke to assured me that it was a 3 man job and gave me a rough estimate of what it would cost. DONT DO IT.! I was quoted $400 max for my 2br move, ended up paying $700! They canceled on me the day they said they would come and had to come the next day instead. Since I booked on a weekday and they cancelled to weekend they went up $100 more hourly when it wasn't my original move in date. Called and expressed my concerns and no care was given. All I got was "see you in court". Well sounds good to me, see ya there!
I wished I would have research further before booking my move with all my Sons Movers. If it were possible to give zero stars, I would have. First, they moved extremely slow with the move, which resulted in us spending way more than we anticipated. During the move, multiple items were damaged beyond repair. One of the movers also cut himself, and when I asked if he needed first aid, he said I am fine, but then I noticed droplets of blood throughout our home and on our carpet that had to spot clean for days. If I could give ZERO stars I would. SUCH AN UNPROFESSIONAL and UNORGANIZED company. My husband and I book these guys to move us out of our 2 bedroom townhome and into our new home which is 10 minutes away. I booked this company 6 weeks in advanced. When moving day came we waited around for them to come ALL DAY, finally at 230pm we get a call from the company cancelling our move! Do NOT reserve with this company. The lack of communication was astounding and the customer service was horrible. Made an already stressful day 10X more stressful.
We had a very bad experience with them years ago. Lost a bunch of our stuff, other items were missing when they finally "located" our missing items. Worst mover we ever used in our experience, this was over 15 years ago, and I still have have bad memories about the move.
I wish I had better news but I am so unhappy right now! I was quoted a flat fee of $169 for a local move that took a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes to move 1 piece of exercise equipment from one house to mine that was a 6 mile drive in total. A representative at the All My Sons Call Center quoted me "$169 All In". I got 2 other quotes, 1 from a local chapel hill company that asked for $275, and then 2 Men and A Truck quoted me $425. We chose All My Sons Moving and Storage based on our previous experience with them and their commitment to safety during this pandemic. We reviewed their procedures on their website, discussed the precautions they were taking with their agent, and received an email that outlined their steps for safety. First off I would like to say that the head of All My Sons nationally, Chris Generale was impressive to deal with. He took charge of my issues. My issues were with the local franchise in Raleigh. I had used Little Guys movers for 2 previous moves and had a great experience. Despite the reviews of All My Sons in Raleigh, I went with them this time as I needed to store my items for 30 days.
