I cannot say one positive thing about this experience. I scheduled my move well in advance with All My Sons for July 10, paid a $100 deposit, and confirmed with them on July 7. I was supposed to have 2 movers & I would be the second move of the day. I was told they would be there after noon. On the day of, I heard NOTHING. I called at 1 PM & was told they were at the offload site & would be on their way to me soon but they would double check. They never called me back. Got a call with our moving time. Later on the day, it got moved. And got moved AGAIN. After waiting the whole day, we find out that the customer before us, with a partial move decided to make it a full move. They accommodated their needs and LEFT US without a truck. Got scheduled for next day, time NOT guaranteed. All we got was a 10% discount. NEVER AGAIN.
This company has the worst customer service and management I have ever worked with. Rude personnel who do not care about whether they have your business or not. I've waited over 6 weeks to get my move scheduled, then they don't show up when they say they will. They reschedule 10 minutes after reaching out and now they can't complete the move that day, even though they were 3 hours earlier than their scheduled window. These movers were the worst I have ever encountered; despite labelling all boxes and telling them exactly where we wanted all furniture, they put our items in incorrect locations and dinged up a ton of our furniture. They also dropped many of our smaller items outside and just left them on the ground in the rain! They also left before moving all of our items. Honestly, this was the worst moving company I've ever worked with. See the below picture for an honest look at what your truck will look like if you use them.
A warning to anyone using All My Sons: they WILL misquote the time it will take to move. I believe they did this intentionally as I have now called the local office multiple times and I also believe that Jennifer, who seems to answer most of the calls, is intentionally routing my calls to the incorrect departments where I am then hung up on. It is impossible to actually have a discussion with anyone there as they just tell you that, "that's not my department, and I'll transfer you." Terrible service.
There is an All My Sons truck moving someone else into my apartment complex now - the movers have damaged the building (walls next to elevator have scratches/scuffs and a hole and there is literally a pile of dirt in our elevator?). I also encountered them trying to shove items into the elevator that clearly would not fit, yelling obscenities. I felt bad for the girl in the leasing office who was just giving a tour to a prospective tenant at the same time. Very unprofessional.
The crew was SO SLOW and damaged many of my items. I had read many bad reviews on here, but decided to give them a chance due to their good sales department. Very quickly I regretted that decision. My $1500 refrigerator was not wrapped and dented, scrapped, smashed, and broken underneath so bad that it cannot stand up straight. They overscheduled their movers, the men sent were exhausted and unable to physically complete the move without the help of my husband. They did not wrap our furniture, one employee continually drug it across the back of the truck to the lift, multiple pieces of furniture were damaged, mud and black residue on new mattresses, bookcase end split, dining room table gouged, beds scraped, the list is never ending.
