First, they arrived at 10:00 am, 90 minutes after their scheduled start time. We were told to "leave items in the drawers" of furniture. We didn't know they would turn the furniture on end, making a mess of items and several drawers nearly impossible to open afterward. Furniture was wrapped securely and there was no damage. However, the extra they hired that day damaged a wall in our new home and then left saying he had an appointment. Do not use this company. They will lie to you just to get you scheduled and not provide promised services. When I called to schedule my move I specifically asked about whether they knew how to handle moving a front loading washer, making sure to secure the drum, and was assured that they did know how to handle that and it would not be a problem. Very interested in getting your business and say all the correct things and then when damage's happens the nightmare begins. Their claims department is very rude and condescending. Even the paperwork work to submit is made very complicated and the want all the paperwork that I signed when we did the move even though they have the paperwork. They say they have 30 days to fulfill a claim and if you get a quote and get it repaired then they say they can't guarantee payment till their experts look at the claim. Quoted me $550-650 to move a studio apartment with 4 pieces of furniture and mostly boxes and my bill was $1050! The move was only 20 min away and into a garage. The guys working said we were the 3rd move of the day and obviously tired. I heard one guy say several times that he didn't want to be there. They were 3 hours later than expected. Even the movers were appalled by the price I was given. This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had moving. It would have been infinitely less stressful and cheaper to have just done the move myself. For starters, the movers were scheduled to arrive at my house between 12pm and 3pm. They did not arrive until 7:00pm. What makes it worse is that at no point did I receive communication from the company about ETAs without me calling them. Every estimate that was given to me regarding the ETA was off by HOURS. Let me just list the facts... 1. I was never told about the 17% charge until the day before the move. 2. I was charged for packing materials that were not used for my move. 3. My dinning room table was not secured in the truck and was broken. 4. My signature was forged on the final bill. 5. Communications was great until I paid. The manager at the location said I could not be refunded for the unused packing material. also would have to file a claim for the forged signature. Worst experience ever. We used All My Sons of Indianapolis for our move. After the initial estimate, every other step of the process was riddled with incompetence and dishonesty. I can only give a sketch of how terrible our experience was. We placed a $1000 deposit on 2/28/2023 and were scheduled to move on 4/1/2023 at 9:30am. Damaged my custom made dining table I built myself, our headboard, and tried to force the fridge through the garage door even when it was measured to not fit and clearly wasn't going to. Bunch of reckless amateurs who dragged their feet since they're hourly.

Was very disappointed in this moving company to say the least and if you don't read this whole review let me just go ahead and say this... if you are moving and decide to use this company make sure you get all the costs up front after being told we were getting two movers at the cost of $149 an hour minimum of 2 hours when the truck pulled up and the guys walkd in we were notified that our bill was already at $560 and they hadn't even loaded one piece yet and when we questioned it one of the guys said that they don't move th... read more
