Booked with them 3 months ahead of time for a move. They called me 24 hours before the move and confirmed everything. Said they would have a team there at 8am. Saturday rolls around and I call them around 10am since no one has shown up yet, they said they don't have anyone and the team called off. First I called for a general quote knowing it could be a little higher. They estimated $1200-1300 and sent a truck with 3 guys. They get there and I go over what needs to be moved. The guy tells me the job is too big for this truck and it needs 4 guys. I suggested they move all the bigger items first then finish the load with whatever boxes and smaller items and if everything didn't fit then I'd be responsible for getting everything left at a later date. AWFUL! They arrived almost 2 hours late, the driver went to a completely different address (about 30min away from my home). So my day was completely delayed due to their irresponsibility of not securing the correct address. The movers had no idea how to pack a truck correctly, they were literally just placing items wherever in the truck. This company is terrible, I was told $100.00 deposit. Then it would be just a 2hr minimum of service. The mowers moved 9 items. I thought it was 7 but it took 1hr and 20 mins. To move me 15 mins away from one apt building to the next. The mover called EJ there supervisor for payment. He tells me my total was $389.00, I'm like what? For only 1hr and 20 mins. Simply a bad experience all around. Several hours late with a poor reason. Ruined the entire move. Would never use them again. Just stay away from this company
If you want to pay ALOT for your stuff to get damaged and they dont care. This is the company for you.
I would give zero stars if possible! Do not use All My Sons moving. Scheduled them at beginning of year and made deposit for move this Saturday. Called on Monday to confirm and she stated they would call with time and final details 24-72 hours before move. No call so I contacted them first thing this morning only to hear that they needed to move me to Monday because they are full on Saturday due to scheduling issues. What? I recently booked this moving company. I live in Indianapolis and thought I was speaking to someone who was well versed. I was quoted $150 with a depo of $100. my items were already packed and being moved from a storage to a house. when they arrived I saw a price of $500 and was reassured that's not what I would be charged. at the end of my move I was charged an additional $442. The three young men that moved my son and I were on time. They indicated we were their first customers of the day; however, their lack for detail needs to be addressed by their boss. Before disassembling anything, they should take note or at least a mental note of all the items attached or that comes with the things they are moving.
