This is a wonderful office with fantastic doctors! I highly recommend this practice. Their new Avondale office is really nice and I love the ocean theme and so do my kiddos. There are some bad reviews but if you read them, they are from parents who don't agree with this pediatric office's policy on vaccines. This is a hot button issue right now and I understand some parent's frustrations with it but you can't rate a practice that you've never actually visited. I have been taking my daughter to see Dr. Broome at MVP since she was born last year. I live almost 40 minutes away but choose to go to their office in Maryvale/Avondale due to their awesome reputation. I have found the experience about as good as can be. Dr. Broome is a smart, funny and outstanding pediatrician with an extensive knowlege of pediatric disease. The nurses are caring and love my little girl. This office is awesome. I hve been bringing my children here sine I moved to Arizona in 2005. Now, I take my granddaughter here too! They are nice, considerate, and a well rounded crew! If only they would hire me as a medical assistant. LOL!!

I've been going here for 8 years since my first son was born and I love it!! I tried going somewhere else closer to my house but I changed back to this place. The other place didn't compare to how I felt with maryvale pediatrics. I have no complaints about it only their office may need to be renovated pretty soon. It just looks a little "tired". Dr. Frakes, she's been a great Dr for my daughter. This is a small practice surrounded by different specialists, located right across the street from Kohls. The examination rooms are clean, small, and furbished with the necessary equipment, some of the nurses or assistants might sound a bit tough, but they are actually really efficient. The Doctor's are very nice, and knowledgeable, and approachable. I was told that Dr. Frakes is leaving this practice, but the other Drs are very good as well. Before it was called MVP kid, back then they couldn't figure out my sons none stop cough and sent me out to see a specialist. The specialist called me and said "we don't take your son diagnosis " . I was puzzled because from what I know my son wasn't diagnosed with anything as of yet. They said the referral was sent with "pulmonary edema" meaning water in the lungs. I called MVP kids and said "I'm sorry about that , would you like for us to fix it and resend it ?" Ummmm... what kind of question is that ?! Anyways, I decided ... read more

Front office staff was very unkind to my husband today, very loud and just an overall unpleasant experience. The wait times are always very long and staff eventually place you in a room and then you often have to wait 30 minutes to an hour plus to see a doctor.

The front office staff is not friendly at all. The atmosphere has changed so much and its not pleasant and friendly going in. I will be changing pedestrian.

I am so saddened to have to leave a negative review following my visit here this morning. My 15month old baby was waiting to be seen by Dr. Broome this morning and while crawling on the exam table a latch wasn't fastened correctly and the head rest piece dropped out from under her like a trap door and my poor baby fell and smashed her face/head on the floor.
