Aesthetically looks beautiful with the fresh flowers in the lobby. Unfortunately the care and cleanliness are extremely disappointing. I had to more my father, and thank goodness I did. He is seems so much happier and definitely taken care of better. Please think twice before sending your love ones to the memory care unit.

Business response:

James, it is disappointing for us to hear that your experience was anything less than great. We'd like the opportunity to discuss this with you. If you're willing to share additional details, please reach out to Charles, our Regional Director of Operations, at 404-237-4026. Thank you.

My father was a resident in the memory care. They tell you anything to get you in there, but if your loved one truly has dementia or Alzheimer’s they staff is not trained to take care of them. Countless mistakes and neglect to name a few issues they have. Please look elsewhere and don’t get fooled by the initial warm welcome, it turns very quickly.

Business response:

We appreciate your feedback, and regret to hear that your experience with us was not a more positive one. We would like to have a better understanding about your experience. Please reach out to us at (610) 725-1713 at your earliest convenience and we will do our best to resolve this with you. Thank you.

Prior to COVID we believed this was a really nice community, but about five months after our loved one moved in the staff did not take care of her, she was pushed by another resident and injured herself which ended up leading to her death. This community was clean, bright and cheery. The food seemed to be satisfying. What really stood out to us was the overall cleanliness, the staff and accessibility.

Atria Willistown was the worst! Short staffed, no activities, constant urine smell. The workers did not care about the residents. It starts from the top. Executive management also didn't seem to care. Had my mother there for less than a year. Moving her was the best decision I made. My heart breaks for those residents still there.

Not what you think... Turnover rate It looks great and you believe your parent will be cared for, especially for what you are paying... After four months we moved mom as there is one nurse for the entire building Monday thru Friday 8 to 4. Caught the Med Techs sleeping on the job. Requested resident plan after 90 days and it was never provided after multiple requests. The lock down unit was not supervised /staffed properly, went with state minimums.. Turnover rate is EXTREMELY high, you need consistency and Atria lacks that ... read more

Look elsewhere Super-expensive and annually raise rents 10%. Food used to be good but now it's awful - they fired the good "chefs" and now serve Sysco crap. It's like hospital food. High nursing turnover.

Never go here! This place is horrible and needs to shut down immediately. The community from the time you walk up smells disgusting and the community is kept very filthy. There is not enough staff to take care of the residents and the staff that is there are very bad. My loved one was neglected on many occasions and the head [Removed] was of no assistance to us. She just kept saying well this might not be the place for your loved one then. Never any kind of resolution for them not doing what they needed for the residents. I ... read more

You Can't Judge A Book by Its Cover.... Solana looks like a Marriott hotel inside and it is supposed to give you the impression that everything there is first class, but it's really NOT! As a former nurse and employee in an assisted living/nursing home environment, they appear to be short-staffed here - especially on the weekends. This is evident when there was a fire drill and no one prepared our mother in advance or made sure she was out of her room - made us all wonder, did they even realize she was there? They certainly ... read more
