Watch out for Aspen Dental. They lure you in with their advertising (x-rays and exam for $19) and then they send you a bill for $170.
The dental assistant who took my X-rays was very unprofessional. She never smiled, she was not curtious, she ordered me about like I was newly enlisted in her military. I told her I was feeling uncomfortable with her and would like some one else. She said she was the only one in the office who could do them. I asked how many more needed to be done. She said three. Aspen Dental in cookeville tn is the worst place i have ever been to for dental work they charged me over 500 dollars to have 2 teeth pulled and didnt even do the job they were paid for and they billed my insurance as well. I still have a chunk of tooth left were they were suppose to pull it and they wont even make it right. By far the worst experience i have ever had at a dentist. It was alright. The woman who did my exray made my whole experience crappy. Not only did she keep digging her fingers down my throat, she had an annoyed face the whole time. Yeah they suck & are uncomfortable, but at least be presentable to me. You hated your job & felt the need to keep telling me to stop gauging. Dang. Sorry.
Horrible. I went today in pain with broken wisdom tooth. Was told that the exam was $19 and the surgical extraction was going to be around $236. So I drive almost an hour from Jamestown to this place in hopes to get my tooth pulled. Paid my $19 to see the dentist and for them to take xrays and looks at my teeth and gums. Waited another to be called back to financial and they wanted $488 to pull one wisdom tooth. Oh and they said their oral surgeon ony comes in once a month. If you are considering using the cookeville office, my advice is dont! I am an existing patient and they really don't care how much pain you are in as long as they have they're money. Called today, broke a tooth and have an exposed nerve, off work and surprisingly enough they can't see me. They already have the money because it was paid in advance last year when I had some work done. They chose not to inform me that I had a credit with them, I guess they figured free money....
