It's my first time visiting this place and it was easy peasy checking in. There's even an option of setting up an online appointment. However, I was there for my 8am appointment. Like I said, I got checked in quick. Even the hygienist and the lady who took the x-rays got the work done in a timely manner. Called in to set up an appointment because I previously went to aspen dental in Elkton before I moved here. The lady that answered was very rude and "ghetto". It was highly annoying to be constantly cut off in the middle of trying to explain my reason for coming in. She briefly placed me on hold and apparently didn't press the hold button because I sat there for a good 8min listening to her and her coworker watching a video I'm assuming was hilarious as they both burst into laughter. First complaint was done 08/13/2018 see Below: I will like to Express my distaste at your Owings mills location. I had an appointment scheduled for 5:15 PM and did not get seen until 5:45pm even though I was pro active in completing my first time patient paper work online and printing a hard copy of the required signature page. As if that wasn't bad enough, prior to my visit I spoke to a representative informing them that I was pregnant and that I had prior records of xrays that were still valid to avoid (if necessary )... read more
WISH I COULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS!!!! Scheduled a same day appointment for a broken tooth with the call center. Left work early to make my 2:40 p.m. appointment. Waiting area is nice, front desk receptionist was nice. Bathroom fairly clean, however they didn't have soap and the toilet paper was extremely hard to unroll. Waited about an hour to have my x-rays done and explained to the tech that i was there for a broken tooth and that i have a dentist, however I am looking for a new one. Do not go here! I could write an entire book of reasons why this place is terrible. No one washes their hands. They make you wait forever and then you have to come back later to have your tooth fixed, so you wait again. The staff comes in to talk to the people who are working on you and distracts them while they are working. My dentist and Tech left me alone after starting my procedure and didn't even say why or when they were coming back. The dentist did not have good control over the instruments he was using. This place is just bad. I'm going to review their services. The hygenist guy named Marcus is very nice and patient. Now how do you go in for routine exam and cleaning and end up leaving without having your primary reason of visit addressed? the Aspen dental of Owings Mills just specializes in xrays and selling you something...most especially invisalign. Never have I had a medical professional decline a routine service before 9/10/18 at Aspen Dental in Owings Mills. Relationship w this office didn't start off strong, as I was on hold ~20 mins trying to make my initial appt, another 11 mins a week later when I needed to change the date and another ~15 mins after I received a text telling ME to call to update ins info I'd just given them. This had to be the worst dental office I had ever been to. They wanted to charge me over 5000 Dollars for some that cost me less than $200 at another BETTER dental office!
Avoid this place like the plague! Apparently, if you have to see them for ANYTHING, they will require you to pay for an x-ray that you don't need, so long as it's been over 6 months. We came here about a year ago for my wife to get a small resin filling done. Typically, they let a minimum of 5-7 years. Their shoddy work only lasted ONE! when we came back for them to fix it, they not only charged us for yet another filling but also made up pay for an entire exam and x-rays on no other basis than their 6 month policy.
