Cedarbrooke apartments was known as lake village of auburn hills New owners new updates to landscape and roads. Better than it was but still lacking in customer service in front office. There is only one garbage compactor in front of complex so if you live in the middle or back of complex you will have a good hike to take your garbage to dumpster. Amenities Galore The Cedarbrooke apartments have amenities galore. Included in the rent is access to an olympic size outdoor pool with hot tub; full workout gym with sauna; a dog park; natural wilderness and gardens with walking trails; clubhouse with billiards room; a recycling center; and even a car wash for residents. Be careful here If you have dogs, I wouldn’t move here. They have hit us with multiple violations due to the opinions of other residents regarding our dogs. Two golden retrievers, and apparently they are extremely scary… I have a third car that has a pass to be parked here and they require it to be moved every three days. They have threatened to tow it every time I’ve been late and put a sticker on the windshield that doesn’t come off and refused to help remove it or the residue you get from removing it. Nice on the outside I recently moved out of this complex and while the apartments have nice community amenities, such as a community grill, pool, small gym, small dog park or pretty much ends there. The apartments have nice layouts, but the bathrooms have no ventilation so mildew and mold grow. The housing has no insulation so you can expect your heating and AC bill to be sky high. Verified Renter Auburn Gate is a quiet place to live. They are making improvements, however, the previous manager was more customer focused. I probably will not renew my lease for a fourth time as there have been a number of issues that still haven't been resolved.

Verified Renter I have been putting in maintenance requests for two summers because my air vents smell like mildew. It is disgusting smelling, and I always have to have the windows open and candles burning, which is also unhealthy for your lungs. My friend came over last night, the moment he walked in the door.
