Everything was spectacular. Crispy shrimp and special salad of the day were a great start. Both tuna and scallop entrees were amazing. Molten chocolate cake was decadent. Also, the different bread selections were a nice touch.

The food was delicious and we enjoyed the small plates tremendously and I would highly reccommend the restaurant! They were gluten-free friendly and willing to check everything with the chef before they would let me order it. We had a wonderful experience.

The food was excellent. Moderate serving size, not enough for a hearty appetite. The food was very French aka buttery, and very flavorful. Food delivery to the table was timed at a relaxed but timely pace that suited our desire to enjoy an evening out. The wines we chose were delicious. Wines being plural because the pour was very small. The service was impeccable. The dining room was a bit austere, but comfortable none-the-less. Overall, we had a nice dining experience.

It's been a long time since we've been to such a fine restaurant. From the minute we entered the property everything was excellent. The valet parking was a nice feature, the hostess, servers, and even the busboys were very professional. We felt very comfortable here and the food was outstanding.

The food was delicious, but overly small for the price. We ordered an appetizer, 2 entrees, and a dessert; I was barely full and my husband was not and had to get more food the next place we went. Additionally, my husband had the tagliatelle. With lobster, which was so finely diced you could barely see it. For the price, they should be a bit more generous with the portion sizes and ingredients featured in the dish.

Bacchus was an amazing highlight on our honeymoon. With a view of the park and Lake Michigan, we had a most romantic, three hour fine-dining experience. The elegant, yet relaxed atmosphere was enhanced by the friendly staff who were particularly helpful when selecting a bottle of wine from an impressive and extensive wine list. We look forward to returning for another memorable evening.

We loved our July visit to Bacchus. Service, food and setting were all top notch. We appreciated the small plates option and tried to take advantage of some of our server recommended dishes including the corn soup, foie gras, scallops and the beet salad with watermelon. For entree's, my wife ordered the veal stuffed raviolis which were excellent, while I had the perfectly cooked halibut. Both dishes were outstanding. We finished off with some sorbet, as we didn't have much room for any of the more decadent dessert offerings.

We had a fabulous time and would certainly return. I do want to point out one minor issue (I say again, minor) in that we had to ask for bread. It appeared that other tables were automatically provided bread but we didn't get any. Usually that is offered or brought tableside between ordering and the 1st course. We asked for it when we got our main dishes, passing right over our two wonderful starters. Bread would have been great to soak up the remaining sauce on one of our starters (The Wisconsin Rarebit - which was probably... read more

This was among one of the best meals I've ever had and I've had the good fortune to have dined in many fine locations.
