I loved the restaurant from the food perspective. Just make sure you so not go on a busy night and get a table in the middle of the room. We had 10 people per minute running past our table. Make sure you request a table near the windows.

A high end restaurant with great atmosphere and service. An excellent choice for a special night out. The food was excellent and was very well presented. My only complaint is that I ordered my NY strip steak pieces to be well done, and they came back quite rare. I sent them back and the staff was appropriately apologetic, but they came back medium well done.

Wow in regards to the food. I had possibly the best veal chop I have ever had. It was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. The spinach salad was pretty good with the braised pork belly. Go eat there people

Service was below average I believe due to the large volume of people on Saturday night for Valentine's Day. Took 45 min for a server to come to our table just for water. Had to ask for bread twice. Luckily, food was still outstanding.

I used opentable.com to make my reservation, very easy. Upon arrival via taxi, my girlfriend and I were greeted and assisted out of the cab by the valet. The bartenders are masters of mixology and created two devilishly delicious cocktails, the Sangria and a cocktail that uses Plum vodka as the base. Our meal consisted of pasterelle, marinated olives, and foie gras. As my first foie gras experience, I think we made the right call going to Bacchus. Not sure how much better it can get. I melted. Filet Mignon was cooked perfect... read more

I am not one to dole out the superlatives for anything, however, I would say the service, food, and wine were phenomenal. Choose a table along the walls or a booth for the best dining experience. Have the pork belly...

Haven't been to Bacchus in at least two years because of a couple of bad service experiences. Recently talked to someone who said they had gotten their act together, so we gave them another try. Must say everything was top notch this time. We were seated right away and the service was excellent. The food has always been good and that was certainly true this time. I never judge a place on one visit so we will give them another go in about a month or so. I hope this is the new norm for them, because when they are good they are... read more

Long a stellar dining spot in Milwaukee, Bacchus continues to take its menu to new levels of interest and excellence. If you haven't been back lately, you are in for a treat. The new array of small plates offers a delicious chance to set up your own tasting of gourmet treats, while the entree menu continues to offer all the old favorites. Service, as always, was impeccable, and it's a relief to dine in such a comfortable space where conversation is easy and distractions few. Bacchus reigns alongside Sanford's at the top of t... read more
