Excellent as always. One of the very, very best in Southeastern Wisconsin.
Overall our experience was satisfying. With the exception of the foie gras appetizer - which was excellent, the meal was good - not outstanding, but good. The service however was dissappointing. The young man who brought us bread was the most attentive of the three people who were supposedly waiting on us. He had to go get someone else when we asked for coffee after dessert had been served - a dessert that was part of our Prix Fix, but which were chosen for us - unexpectedly. A wonderful dining experience overall. There were some atypical service glitches, but the attentive wait staff was upfront and took great care of us. Not a restaurant to be missed!
this is a great restaurant, but the tables are extremely close together, but we did end up having a great conversation with the people at the next table.
Bacchus is always our favorite place for a special dinner. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is beautiful. The only downside is dining in the atrium. This is the second time we were seated in this area and both times the service seems to suffer.
Our dinner at Bacchus was awesome. We went with the prix fixe menu and could not have been happier. The food, wine and service was superb. We will be back!
Wonderful place for a special occasion. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the food and wine selections. Menu changes with the seasons which keeps things interesting.
This was by far the best dining experience I have had in the city of Milwaukee. The food was exquisite while the service was exceptional and extremely attentive. My dining companions who hail from New York City, Boston, and Toronto were indeed impressed. They certainly know good food in great cities; Bacchus ranks among the best of the best.
We have heard so much about Bacchus from friends that have gone there for dinner and decided to try it for ourselves. A friend of ours that holds tastings/classes had recommended Bacchus because of their extensive wine list (over 800 bottles!) and for the overall experience.
