French fries were cold, took forever for our salads to come out and mine only had bacon but everything else didnt even have to be cooked. Waitress was very nice and apologetic but still, bad food.

I have been going to this restaurant since I moved to this town 36 yrs ago. I have been through its up and down management styles. HOWEVER, today is the last straw! Since they rebuilt the restaurant, the y have finally hit bottom! Although the servers are great, the cooks and management SUCK! The buffet and salad bar are a mess as well as always having empty items! The management takes a deft ear to any complaints as if they could care less! Worst service in Gaylord besides McDonalds. Great food if you lots of time and patients to wait for it. I suggest Bob Evens instead. Much better service and the food is great.

Food was horrible even after the big remodel. Went in for breakfast. Biscuit was microwaved so hard I could hardly cut it with a knife. The gravy had no sausage in it. The scrambled eggs had so much coarse ground pepper , my mouth burned. When I commented to the waitress , she argued with me . Will not go back . The 1 star rating is for the water.

I was not pleased with my visit to this Big Boy and will not be back. I ordered fruit as a side with my meal instead of potatoes. When she brought me the fruit it was awful! It was almost like they cut up plastic fruit and brought it to me. No taste and hard as a rock. When I complained the waitress said "I know, they told me to serve it to you anyways". Waitress, Donna, had snapped at us because we didn't place our order fast enough for her. I dont care if you're having a bad day. I'm not paying for attitude. Food is just mediocre unless you go for breakfast. Ill never go back.

I met my parents at this Bog Boy a week or so ago. Typically, I am a fan of Big Boy. I was very disappointed in this trip. When we arrived, we were told there would be about a 10 minute wait because tables weren't clean. We were a bit surprised it would take that long, as no one was waiting in front of us. I took that time to go to the bathroom. The toilet was broke and there were some crazy mechanical sounds coming from the men's bathroom. Service was fast! But the salad bar was horrible. The salad was brown, fries were extremely over cooked, burgers weren't awful but definitely not what they should be. The salad bar was $10!! $10 for salad bar is absolutely ridiculous!! The cleanliness here isn't very good! It seems quite dirty to be honest. If you get options to go to other restaurants don't go here! This place is obviously having problems financially!!
