Just had breakfast and wanted to offer a suggestion but none of the staff asked me how my meal was, so I'll offer them here. I ordered a farmers omelette. The hash browns were great, the omelette less so. There was very little cheese in the omelette and it was rather bland without. Also, the onions need to be better cooked. Some of them appeared to be raw. So, add some cheese and saute the onions better and then we're talking lol
I love stopping by big boy restaurants when I go up north in Michigan and stopped by the Gaylord location. We were greeted by a nice and funny waitress. She was awesome and is so quick and sharp with her humor. The food came out quickly and was nice, hot, and great. Everything is all clean and nice big dining room.
Took my parents here. The most amazing waffles and service by Ariel. It was clean and we had our choice of where to sit.
Stopped in for breakfast on the way home from the U.P. Was pleasantly surprised! The place was clean the waitresses very friendly, the food was quick, hot and delicious. Hubby had the Santa Fe scramble and I had the veggie omelette, order came out correctly. Presentation was excellent, was looking for a quick breakfast stop and we found it. Would definitely stop again
Had the pleasure of eating at the Big Boy restaurant in Gaylord. What a treat! Big Boy food as it should be! Terrific Slim Jim and great Swiss Miss. Did I mention fantastic service as well. Thank you for excellent dining experience!
Placed an online order on my way home from up north. Was pleased to see the business take precautions against COVID and also that it was pretty clean and orderly inside. Service was very friendly and smooth and I enjoyed my spicy chicken sandwiches. Will definitely be back for next time!
Had the pleasure of eating at Big Boy . the service was exceptional and perfect with all my tables requests and needs! the staff here is so friendly, I even had an introduction to the Morning Manager! what a wonderful place for coffee and a relaxed breakfast. I'll be going back much more frequently!
Had to stop in here because both my husband and I hadn't been to a big boy in over 20 years since it's no longer in our area. Pleasantly surprised! We were helped by a gentleman named Jim who is one of the best waiters we've ever had. Kind, quick, efficient! We both had the classic big boy and were very happy with it. An average Big Boy Restaurant. The place was busy, but maintained the cleanliness pretty well. The wait staff was kind. The food was ok. Nothing special. Just picked this place as we were traveling through the area. We have them in Grand Rapids so we kind of knew what to expect.
