Went in to the bathroom to find a busboy using the toilet, only to leave without washing his hands. He then handled a lot of silverware. Rather disgusting. The wait time for food was also very extensive even though there were very few patrons. Will not return Upon eventual arrival the food was cold.

My husband and I ate dinner at the Gaylord Big Boy last night. I had my small service dog Lacey with me. Only our waitress knew she was with me. Our waitress was fantastic and the food was very good. As we were leaving people in the resteraunt were eating their meals and paying no attention to me or my service animal until a male waiter loudly started making comments over and over he couldn't believe those people brought a dog into the resteraunt. If you could post 0 stars I would have. We got our app and never was checked on. Boyfriend had one Pepsi but never got a refill. Ordered our meal and he got the wrong one. I finished my meal (which wasn't good at all but I was hungry) when we finally got the host to get our server to fix it we just asked for it to be taken off our bill after she argued with us. Horrible service. Didn't ask if we wanted drinks. Then brought us gross water. Showed up at 2pm for lunch. The buffet had no soup. No cold plates only hot ones for salad! No tongs for the salad. Condiments not labeled. I won't be coming back.

We had to wait 20 minutes for our meal. My onion rings were cold. My husband's burger wasnt warm at all. His fries were though. I got a slim jim. I have an allergie to lettuce, and told them that. I ate 1/2 of my sandwich and went to go eat the other 1/2, there was a piece of lettuce on it. I waited for 10 minutes for anita (our waitress) to come to the table. When i showed it to her. We are seniors and all previous meals were good, but on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, we had to wait about 45 minutes for our order. The Big Boy Sandwiches had hard over fried burgers, next to being burnt. The onion rings were also over fried as hard to even bite into. My husband has dentures and said he was having trouble trying to bite into the Big Boy sandwich alone even trying to chew them. French fries were cold, took forever for our salads to come out and mine only had bacon but everything else didnt even have to be cooked. Waitress was very nice and apologetic but still, bad food.

I have been going to this restaurant since I moved to this town 36 yrs ago. I have been through its up and down management styles. HOWEVER, today is the last straw! Since they rebuilt the restaurant, the y have finally hit bottom! Although the servers are great, the cooks and management SUCK! The buffet and salad bar are a mess as well as always having empty items! The management takes a deft ear to any complaints as if they could care less! Worst service in Gaylord besides McDonalds. Great food if you lots of time and patients to wait for it. I suggest Bob Evens instead. Much better service and the food is great.
