Got food here. First of all it took almost an hour to get our food service was horrible. Finally, when I got my food it not only looked awful and tasted awful I went home later and got food poisoning. What a joke of a restaurant.
Not sure what is going on at this location. Big Boys are usually pretty reliable places to stop for a decent meal. This one must not have gotten the memo. We were seated quickly and our drinks delivered, and after that things went downhill. Our original server comes over and says, "They are kicking me out of here, so someone else will be taking care of you." this is for madison hts location on john r. 1st time 20 min wait no service , 2nd time 10 min wait no service . the servers like to gab , its gab fest 2021. talk talk talk . they do not like carry out orders . this is not a big boy it is a very little boy . time to avoid this little boy at all cost . go to bob evans for your carry out needs they will take care of you fast . ken c.
Inattention from kitchen to service is astounding! Told manager of two incorrect orders and was told others just didn't do their jobs - not hers...
Horrible waitstaff, 15 minutes for an ice tea, 45 minutes for an omelette. watched two tables arrive, eat, finish and leave before we were served. Waitress Never Stopped By After Delivering Drinks, Watched Her Never Make An Effort... Horrible "Management" if its possible to even call it management - no clue!
Just ordered 2 slim Jim's at Big Boy on 23 mile, New Baltimore....they gave us 2 big boys. I hate hamburger and it was a 18 mile round trip drive. When I called them, the manager said...BRING THEM BACK...isn't that ILLEGAL...if they didn't believe it, all they had to do was have us text them a photo of their 2 bigboys in their styrofoam containers instead of 2 wrapped slim Jim's that we were supposed to receive. Stopped in at the Gaylord location... Husband has a medical rx from Licensed Doctor as to why he can't wear a mask and i can receive a felony for wearing a mask... The employees all stated and pointed and said, "You need a mask" he held one up to his face while I reluctantly put one on against my better judgement... Please keep in mind my husband lost his 13 year old son in a farming accident many year ago.. his sons favorite restaurant was Big Boy's... which is the ONLY reason we stopped!!! Husband and I stopped to have breakfast on our way through and were refused service due to my husband not being able to wear a mask even it it was due to MEDICAL reasons. Very rude and unwilling to stop to listen. We were told it was their policy and to leave.
Basically food is ok, but service will be horrible if you don't get kristies section, if she isn't working just leave
