They were able to come same day and make the repair.
Furnace hasn't broken down since these folks started doing annual service. :-)
Black Lion wasn't the cheapest bid I had but they were what I viewed as the best mixture of pricing and professionalism. I have also used them for furnace and HVAC service. Adis was fantastic and since we are 5 minutes from their office came out at no charge for a rebid as the scope of the project changed due to manufacturing delays for materials for another project. Wonderful. They sent a 3-man crew out (including the electrician) and had the entire system installed in one day! They were professional and courteous. They took great care to show all of the different systems that were added, and explained everything.
On time, efficient, moderate price.
They did fine. They did pretty good.
Still heating water.
Everett, technician, came out and did a diagnostics and cleaned out our furnace and heat pump. This didn't resolve our issue and it turned out to be the compressor. This is a very costly part and we both agreed that it wouldn't be worth it to replace the compressor since our system was 8 years old. I had three other companies diagnose the symptoms our furnace had been having, and all volunteered confidence in different 3 different diagnosis that they could not show evidence to support. Black Lion found the cause and showed it to me (heat exchanger leak). So I had black lion install a new furnace for me. They also added a capacitor add-on kit to my old air conditioning compressor, to postpone replacing it.
