When arranging care at home for my elderly mother last summer, I came across Bluebird Care which is local to her area. Starting from my first contact with them, I continue to feel reassured that the services provided are a good match for my mother's needs. The carers are professional and very understanding. Efficient and friendly set up of mum's care with meetings prior to her return home to assess her needs. Home safety visits are also done efficiently. It's only been a few days but the carers have been kind, and friendly and helping Mum with whatever she needs with the same regular carers so they can get to know Mum and so she feels comfortable too. My mom needed help in the morning with her breakfast and support getting out of bed due to her age-related problems. Bluebird sent a lovely lady to help my mom to do just this! She also prepared a sandwich to leave for my mom's lunch as my family were at work so we knew mom would have eaten and also had a drink with her sandwich. My father has had care from Bluebird Care Solihull & Birmingham since he returned from hospital nearly 2 months ago. He has 24 hour care provided, plus additional carers several times a day to assist with hoisting, personal care and dressing as he has been rendered disabled from a stroke. All the staff have been friendly, attentive, kind and considerate and treat my father with respect and care. My aunt has had care from Bluebird for a few years now. We are very happy with the care she receives, some of the carers go above and beyond and become part of the family and it’s sad when they leave for pastures new. We have been lucky with our experience with Bluebird and my aunt loves her new carer which makes me happy to see she is happy. Also to add if I have had any problems or concerns, they are always there to help and put our concerns first. All round, well done Bluebird.

When the manager came to assess my daughter's needs she was very thorough, polite and friendly. The team are easy to contact and always returns my calls or emails. The ladies from Bluebird Care, who care for my daughter currently, are fabulous and I couldn't ask for more.

The management team were accessible and reliable and the carers were professional and did what was requested. Mum was not always cooperative and they showed patience and persistence. The carers kept records so we could check mum's medication and food. Unfortunately, mum deteriorated quickly and needed full-time specialist care. The only minor problem was that the same carer couldn't always be available and we understood this.

Faultless help and support from first contact with the team to now receiving home care and support for my mum. Three carers, in particular, have been supportive, understanding and incredibly efficient at helping us get the care package in place. We're in our first week with the team visiting and everyone that has been so far, has been lovely. My mum has commented that she already feels really cared for.

I have been using Bluebird Care Solihull & Birmingham for over a year now and I have been very pleased with the continued good service. Each carer that arrives has always been very helpful and pleasant and will do anything you ask them to. I am happy when I get the same person but I realise that this is not always possible.
