I'm an out of state buyer and I inquired about a used car listing. I asked 4 times for them to walk around the car and send me detailed pictures of any dings, scuffs, curb rash, touch-ups, or imperfections on the vehicle. I also asked them for service records. All I received were general photos of the vehicle without what I had asked for. They also sent me the Carfax and the warranty repair history. I bought 3 cars from this dealer in past 6 months. 2 X5 vehicles and one 320xi sedan. My first experience was great and I left positive feedback. Unfortunately, I cannot leave the same review again after coming back 2 more times. John Kim is absolutely arrogant and a flat out liar. He never showed interest to make a sale, sounded like a jerk in emails and if I asked something he didn't like he offered money back and got very defensive. He appeared to be knowledgeable of the vehicles and knew all of the bells and whistles. However he did not appear to be at all a people person very pompous and arrogant. Needs improvements on his customer service delivery. Not a good fit for a high end dealership.
Why waste your time with BMW of Towson/ Bel Air/Rockville? Make NW BMW your first and last stop. You'll see the larger dealerships (see above) stealing money from you with mandatory nitrogen fill for your tires ($99.00). Amongst other items, like charging you for gas. How pathetic. Your tire pressure will still fluctuate as much as usual. This is only because they ARE NOT filling them with nitrogen. I have access to a nitrogen cart... The professionalism of Karen Anderson and the manner in which she conducts business makes it impossible not to go back to BMW. She is certainly one of your top model sales women on your team and should be commended highly in this regard. On the other hand, I do have one complaint but it is not with Mrs. Anderson. My previous vehicle from BMW, the sales person hid a balloon payment in the contract that I did not know about and that has caused undue burden and hardship on me. I would like to express my concerns with the service department, I brought my vehicle to the service department a few weeks ago because the car was jerking, stalling when I attempted to accelerate, just not functioning as it usually would, while there were no indicators on the dash to warrant a trip to the dealer I knew something was wrong with my car, so I made an appointment. Purchase a MERCEDES Benz ML 350. It had 19K on the odometer on the papers the mileage was 23K. It had a dint on the driver side had it fited. When I drop off my car it had 20K when I pick it up it had 24K. This pretty much tells you that they had reset the odometer for a lower mileage so that u think u getting a good deal and won't bargain. They sold a car with 2 new front tires and 2 worn out rear tires. Why would you do that and then said BMW dealer gurentee 100% satified product. We came in to buy a 328i and ended up with a GT for more money and a better car. This was not even offered at another dealer.
