While car shopping we ran into Rick Lopez and his Manager (Can't remember his name) of BMW of Alexandria. We were looking at a 328 but unsure of which car we really wanted. After showing us multiple cars over the span of two days we really liked the BMW 535i. Working out pricing and details we found out it was too high for our budget. I had a great experience working with Paul. I have had my share of experiences working with car dealerships and this was the BEST experience so far. Paul was very knowledgeable about the X5 and allowed me to test drive the car by myself (most dealers have the sales guy ride with you). The overall atmosphere at the dealership was inviting and I was immediately at ease with Mr. Blakeman's friendliness and expertise. I have 2008 BMW 328xi that was bought certified pre-owned with 53,000 miles on it now. Owning a BMW has been aggravating experience. It has had a lot of gaskets leaking and as I discovered after two of them broke after I hit potholes (very common in VA) the fenders are plastic. The service manager did work with me for the first fender and was willing to replace it after contacting BMW at no charge but when the other side broke I decided this was no longer the car for me.
