I had a very bad experience last year with my 9-year-old dog Buster's previous vet. I vowed at that time that I would never take him back there, so obviously I needed to find a new clinic. I spent some time researching on line and Brookfield Vet kept coming up with stellar reviews. I decided to give them a try when it was time for his regular check up. After I made an appointment online, they called to ask about Buster's medical history in advance of the appointment. He has had a lot of health issues with a lot of pro... read more

We recently moved to the area and selected Brookfield because of their good reviews. Their staff is very knowledgeable, and more importantly communicative. I initially had some concerns about things they did differently than my previous vet and was personally contacted by the owner to address them. The time and effort that something like that takes, all for one client, is very commendable.

About a month ago we had a not so pleasant experience with Brookfield and wrote a review about it. We were contacted by Dr Howard Robinson who was very concerned and wanted to right a wrong experience for us. I must say that Dr Howard Robinson and his staff were very sincere and caring of our pets and our feelings. He went well out of his way to make us feel better. After corresponding with Dr Robinson I decided to take in my two chihuahuas (one for a concern regarding anal gland and the other for her senior check up). ... read more

We've been taking our dog Tala here for about 3 years now and think they do a great job. Our dog is an Alaskan Klee Kai who is rather shy. The last time we had to take her in the vet actually sat on the floor and waited for Tala to warm up to her versus just putting her up on the exam table. This really helped our little dog feel less stressed out and me too. I would certainly recommend Brookfield. The staff is friendly and they really care about your pet.

This Vet clinic is incredible. A husband/wife team. We had to euthanise our second cat in the last 10 weeks last night. The vet (Dr. Robinson) was a saint! Our cat had oral cancer. Dr. Robinson, during a very emotional time for me and my family, was able to lay out what practically made sense to do in treating her VS; euthanising. Like most vet clinics, (which did happen to us with our other cat at a different Veternarian) she could have encouraged us to run up quite a vet bill to extend the cats' life. It would have been to... read more

I really love this vet! I adopted a very old cat from the Humane Society three years ago. No one was sure of his age. Dr. Marie Robinson took great care of him, and consulted with another vet (her husband!) to sort of narrow down the range for us. He was already in kidney failure and pretty frail, and they were always very gentle with him. Even though he was a passive kitty and didn't resist when they drew blood, they were still very sympathetic and worried about not hurting him. I called them ahead of time and got pr... read more

We took our 11 week old Golden Retriever puppy here for his first exam, hoping to find a vet that we love and trust immediately. I can say that we definitely have here at Brookfield. The vet assistants were SO nice and you can tell that they really love animals. One of the assistants gave our pup a chew treat to entertain him while she did an exam. When the vet came in, he was just the nicest guy with great information for us. They explained pet insurance and suggested a company that they like and trust. They made sure... read more

Brookfields is a definite 5 star in my book. They are very thorough with my cat Seabie and are less expensive than the veterinarians I used in Seattle (though I'm not sure why that is since the exams are more comprehensive). By thorough I mean they not only make sure immunizations, etc. are up to date, but they also check stool samples and look for issues with their teeth and gums that could become a problem. They sent us home with toothbrush and paste, so it was like going to the doctor and dentist at the same time! As my c... read more

The saga of choosing a vet for our chocolate Lab, Moose, could be a mini-series on HBO. We decided to give Brookfield Veterinary Hospital a try after some less-than-positive experiences with other vets, and doing a lot of research. I am so glad we did. Moose is a rescue and my first dog, so I had a lot to learn. The staff at Brookfield is thorough, kind, and above all, strives to provide excellent care. They are the only vet's office that is willing to explain their decisions instead of just telling me it was "necessary". E... read more
