Great vet practice. One thing they do that is VERY nice is if you have VPI Pet Insurance, they fill out all the paperwork for you, fax it in, and mail you the originals. Makes all that hassle super simple.
Their service was excellent, but it doesn't come cheap either. A quote I got them for my cat neutering was 180$. Some vet clinics nearby can do for 50$.
We are getting ready to bring our cat to Japan, so we called and asked if they do everything needed to go overseas. The lady on the hone was uber knowledgeable, so we decided to come here. They happily greeted us early in the morning, and did a great service. When it came time to pay they didn't accept checks, and I only had a check, so I was worried we couldn't take our cat home. I recommend this place to everyone who owns an animal. They are the real deal! The husband and wife team of veterinarians (degrees from WSU--one of the best vet. schools) have hearts that match their expertise. I have never felt pressured to purchase additional services, I have only felt lucky to have veterinarians who care so much. My wife and I adopted two cats from PAWS in 1999, were referred to Brookfield and have been going ever since. Unfortunately one of the two cats (RIP G-Funk) was ill and never made it past a few months old. The staff did all they could to help him, but ultimately we had to make the hard decision and they were very sensitive to our loss. I adopted two cats from a shelter in West Seattle and took them here for checkups. The entire staff is AMAZING!!! My cats have ended up being a complete headache health wise, from getting colds, to ringworm, to parasites. Every time that I have taken them here, I leave feeling so much better and optimistic about my cats eventually being healthy one day. My family and I recently moved to the area. I took one of my pups to a vet closer to our house and was so disappointed. My pugs needed vaccines for an upcoming stay in a kennel and I took them to Brookfield based on reviews. I was SO happy with everyone here. The office is clean and very organized. There was no pressure and they didn't try to make me feel like a bad dog mom like some places do. They were great! We found a doc for our four-legged kids! :) Thanks!
I agree with a lot of the previous positive reviews but one thing that bothers me is the feeling of "pressure" to purchase some service for my puppy. I don't mind a suggestion or some advice but I feel like certain things like microchipping or procedures that were told to be unnecessary earlier but helpful are pushed on us like we have money growing somewhere in our nonexistent backyard tree. I took my cat here this weekend for a second opinion/sanity check after a really horrible experience at Redwood Animal Hospital. What a wonderful relief this place was. The Brookfield ambiance is friendly and warm -- the front-desk staff were kind and sweet. We were seen immediately by a tech, who was extremely knowledgable and good with our fiesty beast.
