As soon as I saw some of the huge proportions I made the assumption that the main draw was the size of each order! However, my chicken pot pie was as good as any I’ve eaten and the massive hotdog my friend had was excellent and he ate every bite. The other diner had the chicken Milanese which covered his whole plate. The small bite he allowed me to have was again very good and he ate every bit of it. Seems like a tourist hangout but the food was very good!
Fun diner for before theater. I brought my daughter and grandchildren because they like diners. They didn't have a kids' menu which was a little disappointing, but we managed to find things for them to eat.
Great fun and great location.
First time to New York and decided to make a reservation here. Service was excellent snd the food was good. The place was very clean. I noticed there wasn’t a crumb on the floor. We ate there with 2 kids so was very kid friendly.
Food was fantastic! The matzo ball soup tasted like my grandmother's. It was phenomenal. The service was great and the music made you want to get up and dance. Everyone in the whole place was singing along to Earth Wind & Fire's "September". If you live in NYC or if you are just visiting you must try this place. It is a bit pricey but well worth it as all of the food is great and you can't beat the ambiance. I will definately be back!

I had the bagel tower which was enough for two meals. It was piled high with lots of smoked salmon and cream cheese and had tomato and cucumber slices on the side to add as desired. I also had to try the noodle kugel which was amazing!! I almost cried when I had to toss my leftovers after having been in my backpack all day while traveling home to Chicago. Hubby ... read more
Great breakfasts, huge portions and the service was top notch. Little pricey for breakfast but overall would go back.
Great food - quick and nice service, as we were heading to the theater.
