Service was aite slow but the food was delicious! We had the tuna melt and the BLT, both really good and huge servings!
Though a little slow on service, we did enjoy our waitress and our breakfasts. Love the polenta, a nice change from home fries. The New Yorker breakfast seems to be a pretty good deal if you are going to be ordering coffee and juice anyway. The fresh squeezed orange juice is a nice touch.
Order the chicken pot pie- best ever!
The Chicken pot pie was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and helpful. We were not rushed. A+ for cleanliness.
We ate both brunch and dinner here last week. The ambience was great, the food very good and the service excellent. For brunch I had smoked salmon with caramelised onions and scrambled eggs. The onions were rather too sloppy for my taste, but other than that it was good. My husband enjoyed Huevos Rancheros which he loved. One of the better diners I've been to. Salad was very fresh! Blackened salmon burger had good flavor but I would have preferred it to be made with a whole piece of salmon vs the can type.
Tables are very close together. Order came out wrong to start.
My husband and I found this gem a few years ago by accident. We loved the food and our cocktails were great too! Each time I love that the servers have such great personalities. We eat here every time we are in New York. Can’t beat the kuegel!!!
Food was exceptional as always, but our server disappeared after taking the order. Did not come back again until, with much difficulty, we finally waved to him to give us our check. Could not order dessert as it was getting late and we had an 8 o’clock Broadway show to attend. We were close to the door and at one point it got too warm for comfort.
