Perfect "go to" place when at the theater. The food is always good and I'm a "diner kid!" The prices are reasonable and the portions are large. The service is pleasant and reliable. I had the cobb salad -- lots of bacon, chicken and fresh salad. Did have to ask for more blue cheese dressing and it arrived immediately. Besides, Brooklyn in Manhattan -- what more can one want?
The experience at the Brooklyn diner was ok, was introduced to a traditional meal a knugel, waitress was happy to explain. Traditional American diner experience.
We went before the theater and it was a perfect location and timing. Delicious burgers, great wait staff
I ordered chicken pot pie and it was big enough to feed a family. Unfortunately, it wasn't very good/seasoned enough. The server was very pleasant and prompt. I would recommend a friend & tell them to stay away from chicken pot pie.
The food and service were excellent as usual. This is my go to place when I have theatre tickets.

It was everything I wanted from a NYC meal. We ate dinner there and all left happy and satisfied.
Surprisingly good although let down by slack service.
Food outstanding, particularly the chicken pot pie. However, the service was very slow.
