courteous friendly accommodating really took care of the needs of my guy who uses a walker just felt like they cared about us would definitely go there again and again
Prices have gone up and food quality has gone down.
strategic location and easily found. Next to the pedestrian area of Times Square and will recommend for visitors to New York City who is looking for reasonable restaurant for a quick bite when they are around this very crowded tourist spot.
The pot pie was out of this world. The calamari was a wonderful appetizers as was the mac and cheese . The salmon in claypot was healthy and delicious . This was a quick meal before a show . Got us out of there within an hour ! STAFF WAS HAPPY AND WONDERFUL TO US.BRAVO NICE JOB .
This was my first visit to the Brooklyn Diner and I will go again. The host and hostess could not have been more pleasant. The wait staff was efficient, friendly, and accommodating. Very large portions were enough to take home, and we were offered tupperware to pack it in to keep it fresh. There are not enough words to describe how pleasant this experience was.
it was pricy, but we wanted a reservation for lunch next toSondheim theater. We split 1 chitcken pot pie, 1 noodle kogel, and one kayle caesar salad. I had one cup of coffee. With tip $53.00! I would only eat here again for a special occasion, or for matinee.
This was the first restaurant we visited in the city. We were met by a very helpful and friendly hostess. We spied our neighbors' dishes and decided that we'd have what they were having-the pot roast platter! Broccoli, mashed sweet potatoes and a very savory roast was enough for two to share. It was so delicious that we made the Brooklyn Diner the spot for our final meal in NYC as well. We will definitely come back the next time we are in NYC!
Apparently they are changing their name because they are not a true diner, we picked the place because it had diner in the name thinking we could get breakfast whenever, but they stop serving breakfast early, they still accommodated us but it was a very limited menu for breakfast, the food was still good and it was still a nice place to eat, would go back!
Our dinner was fantastic! Our waiter Joel selected all four of our meals for us. Each meal was beyond our expectations. Our family will never forget The Brooklyn Diner.
