Like a well oiled machine! The warm welcome, great service, menu with something for everyone, generous portions, clean and well done interior and steps from Times Square. Has it all! Make a reservation ahead and you won't be disappointed.
So hard to find good places to eat in Times Square. Good quality food with good service. A couple steps up from diner food. Will definitely use it as a go to before a play or if in the area.
We love this place. They have a good variety of selections on the menu. All the food is good. They offer accommodations for allergies, the service was great, and prices reasonable. What more do you want before a show on Broadway?! Go - you'll love it!
I always enjoy my experience here. Chris welcomes you like family, the food and service are outstanding, and the ambiance is quintessential NYC. A no brainer if you are in the neighborhood.
EXCELLENT food and service!!! The chicken pot pie special was out of this world.
The quality of food for a diner is a few levels up from standard. The pot roast was rather good, along with the mashed sweet potatoes. Exceptional servers catered to our dietary needs and quirks. Very kind and engaging. The manager, "Deborah?" helped the service flow smoothly, as a manager should. We went back, and this time we brought a friend. We'll go back again!
We ate an early supper here, in between picking up tickets and walking down the block for our show. Location is awesome; menu had enough variety to suit different interests; service was attentive and quick. Tables are rather close together, but hey, it's NY.
Love this place for breakfast, lunch and pre or post theater dining. Inventive takes on diner food and much much more. Richard makes everyone feel like he's welcoming them into his home.
It's been several years since I've gone to Brooklyn Diner but I would have to say the food is just as good as I remember. The egg white spinach and mushroom omelet was perfectly made and the portion was quite large. I look forward to coming back in the near future
