Excellent food and fun atmosphere. Wide ranging menu of American fare. It was very crowded when we were there but they handled our table very well.
Make reservations. Breakfast stops at 11AM. Classic diner food well prepared. It was very busy and with reservations we waited 20 mins. We were going to matinee so were pushed for the time. Our waiter and the manager were very helpful getting our food out. fun experience if you want good new york city food and atmosphere.
This is one of my favorite places to eat in NYC. Most recently, I went with a group of family members, some of whom were out-of-town visitors for the holidays. As always, the food was great. The reuben sandwiches were delicious, the noodle kugel was a big hit, and we couldn't resist the chocolate blackout cake for dessert! The service was outstanding -- the waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. Chris, the host, went out of his way to make us all feel welcomed. We all loved it -- will definitely be back!
Fantastic food and food presentation in what could be a touristy restaurant but is a neighborhood gem instead. Only caveat is that we waited a long time for our food (too long). This however seemed to be an isolated incident as the table beside us got served pretty quickly. They should have someone serving coffee as soon as we are seated, at least we would have had coffee while waiting. Brilliant food and atmosphere. Our waiter was really helpful and friendly. All staff were very nice and welcoming. We will be back!
I had the best homemade veggie burger, My guests had a pastrami sandwich on rye and an every day turkey meal. All three choices were delicious. Our waiter, Pat was charming and efficient and got our order right. We are so glad we made a reservation on Open Table or we would have had to wait in line. Instead we were shown to our booth immediately. Thank you.

Great fun restaurant. Perfect for the family. Huge portion sizes. Like home cook meals.
I'm glad that we can make reservations at TImes Square location. ALways reliable pre-theater. Very generous portions.
