Very pleased to have found a restaurant this good in the heart of Times Square!
Gracious greeting on a busy Saturday evening, reservation was in order and waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Good New York food - far above diner quality. The Reuben was terrific and a full meal in itself. My companion raved about the Pastrami sandwich. The noise level was high, lots of tourists and young people enjoying the restaurant. I will go back.
Although the Brooklyn Diner has one of my favorite breakfasts in all of NYC (The Mixed Marriage of Irving and Gina) this visit was a big let down. We made reservations to make sure we got a table for breakfast before work, and we were welcomed and started off great. However, the food was not great, the presentation was severely lacking, the service was strained, and for the prices they charge, should have been a better dining experience all the way around. We loved this place. The chicken pot pie was beyond good. We all ate some of it. Big enough for 2 people. All the food we ordered was excellent. Very good service
We were pleasantly surprised with our experience at Brooklyn Diner Times Square. It's a great place to get a bite before or after a show. The food was fresh and well prepared. The wait staff was pleasant and efficient. Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon rather than bacon or ham was very tasty. Blueberry pancakes were good. We appreciated the fact that we could make a reservation because the place is busy! We'll be back!
Great service, food subpar and overpriced for what you get.
I went here on a friday night and it was a perfect date place.The staff was very nice and very attentive.The place was packed when we got there but it didnt feel cramped at all.The food was very good but I do think it was a little over priced.Other than that I have no complaints and would highly recommend The Brooklyn Diner!
Once again, The Brooklyn Diner doesn't disappoint. Everything is always consistently good from the service to the food. The staff is friendly, the diner is clean, the food is really good. What more could you ask for?
