I have been coming to both Brooklyn Diners sincethey opened and can honestly say they are the best in their neighborhoods for great service, food and enormous warmth. The name Diner is a mis-nomer; it is somuch moreand betterthan a diner. we love it.the Chinest Chicken salad is addictive, as is their hot fudgesundae. Best burgers in town, and the macaroni and cheeseand chicken pot pie are to die for. They are great with kids, and truly care about everybody.
we enjoyed the Brooklyn Diner very much and although the word "Diner: did evoke visions of red formica table tops and juke boxes, the white table cloths and range of food were a very pleasant surprise. this is Diner gone upscale and we will return.
Went for dinner before the theater. The service was great - people that worked there were friendly and helpful. The prices seemed a bit high for burgers and salads....but my two friends that had burgers said they were fantastic and got to a place where they could accept the prices!!!
We picked this restaurant for breakfast because it was next door to the Casablanca hotel where we were staying. Food was good. Weird that you couldn't get any type of potatoes with breakfast! Service was extremely slow due to understaffed servers who were polite when you could find them. The fresh squeezed orange juice is better than you find in Florida!
Enjoyable time...crowded when we went, right before a show...but we had a reservation, and didn't have to wait. The food was great...the waiter and the other folks around us all in good moods. We had fun and would go again.
Needed a breakfast spot for a business meeting. Brooklyn Diner is in a great midtown location. The menu had a nice variety of great breakfast foods. Service was amazing. They were always there when we needed something but didn't hover and didn't bother us. I never felt pressured to leave. I'd go back there again anytime and would recommend to anyone.
Obviously pretty steep in price, but what do you expect in the heart of Times Square! We had an array of food...Chicken Pot Pie, Mac and Cheese, Corned Beef Sandwiches, Corned Beef and Cabbage, and the Pastrami Topped Cheeseburger. All were absolutely worth the price! A definite "Must Do" experience when you visit the area. Oh, and the service...Kaetlyn was phenomenal!!!
Food was good. Had to wait for table, but host more than made up for it with free drinks and desserts.
We love the Asian Chicken salad. It's a perfect summer dinner. The chicken soup is to die for! We do miss the sky high lemon meringue pie that they took off the menu recently. We're glad to see the skirt steak back on the menu.
