Food was tasty ~ from the homemade chicken soup to the spectacular wedge salad and the huge pigs in blankets ~ and the service was warm and friendly. The four of us felt very comfortable and were not rushed at all, even let us just sit and visit.
Great diner. I had the fried chicken which was ok. Others had the pigs in a blanket - good; pastrami - ok but not hot enough; ziti - good. Overall good diner food. Service was good.
The Brooklyn Diner does not disappoint. The food is good and served in Large portions. However, I would avoid the pizza in any restaurant that isn't a pizza place. The restaurant isn't inexpensive but you do not walk out hungry.
In the heart of Times Square and the Theater District with a menu of delicious "comfort foods." From Burgers to Mac & Cheese to Chicken Parm. Also some great salads and a giant hot dog.
Great food for a diner tpe setting. Salads were excellent!
Very nice interior. It doesn't look like a traditional diner but rather a nice restaurant . Service was great and accommodating.
We arrived early for our reservation but that did not throw them off -- we did not have to wait - -they got a great table ready for us and seated us within minutes -- the service was prompt, friendly and the waiter knew the menu well enough to make suggestions -- the restuarant was busy but we never felt rushed -- prices good --especially for the theater district -- we will go back !
It was kid "friendly" but no kids menu - this is a diner in Times Square which should have a separate menu for the kids. Its pretty pricey but expected in this area.

This particular evening we enjoyed the 18 ingredient salad and the Cuban chicken. Both were well-prepared and excellent tasting. The coconut cake for dessert was too cold, too big a slice, and pricey but a sweet way to finish off a good meal. Wait-staff is responsive to your needs and extremely respectful of curtain times. As usual at a Fireman restaurant we... read more
