Always a reliable, delicious, and comfortable experience. Good, friendly service by handsome actor types.
My dad loves the pot pie, hence the reason for our lunch at the Times Sq location before the theater on Sunday. He came into the city for the day and had a craving for their pot pie. He has traveled the world and has decided that it is the best one he has ever eaten. Pot pie and egg cream - what could be bad? I'm gluten free so my meal was only mediocre, but I was happy because my dad was happy. Joel was our server and quite delightful. Had a great breakfast at the Carnegie Hall location (not Times Square -oops) Iconic diner had crisp white tablecloths, Sunday morning it was packed but everything moved quick and coffee was kept refilled large servings. Food was good!
Had a reservation for dinner before the show I was going to see and showed up a little early. Busy place on a Saturday night, so the girl at the front desk told me I could wait by the bar while they were getting my table ready. Ended up just staying and eating at the bar since I was bach'ing it that night. Food was great and the service by the bartenders was very attentive. Going back for sure!
A nice locatie near Times Square! We went for breakfast! Good service and nice ambiance!
Brooklyn Diner Times Square provided calm and attentive service, extensive menu, everything delicious and waiter was accommodating as the four of us asked to share several entrees. He presented the cake we ordered for our birthday celebration with lighted candles, singing Happy Birthday in an amazing baritone voice, turns out he is an actor, pianist, singer and composer. Ask to sit at Jonathan's station!
Had the Chicken Pot Pie which was one of the best I've had, but also the most expensive. Overall, very high prices for a Diner.
Very expensive but the food was nice and the service was efficient and very friendly.
I had a wonderful experience a few years back at the Brooklyn Diner. It was a freezing day, I was visiting NYC, it was my birthday. The food was fantastic. The bread was toasted perfectly, the waiter was charming, the food was delicious. The waiter carefully served us milk for the tea and cream for the coffee, and I was in love with Brooklyn Diner. I've been back a few times since that visit. On this occasion, portions were good, the service was efficient, but the experience did not reach the heights of my past experiences. ... read more
