This was our first time to this restaurant. What a wonderful surprise! Right in the middle of Times Square, the restaurant was classier than a diner, but had a large menu to choose from, modest pricing and delicious food. We will definitely be back!
Great as usual. First visit always when in New York since my sister loves the cheesecake they have at the Brooklyn. Will come back next time !
Have been to the Brooklyn Diner countless times. Love their Tony Bennett french toast on Challah bread with strawberries and pecans!!! They are always VERY friendly and the hostess was very accommodating when we ended up arriving 15 minutes late for our reservation because our daughter uses a wheelchair and we had to deal with construction and sidewalks closed in Times Square. Have also ordered the eggs benedict and pancakes and it is always superb. The portions are extra large!!!
Good service. Great mac & cheese. Too rich to eat too much, so share it with a friend.
Wish we had a diner this good on Long Island. Thanks for both of your restaurants @ Times square and Carnegie Hall. You should have more vegetarian selections.
Marketed as a traditional diner - the menu tries to recreate this Both this branch and the one at Carnegie hall are always busy. Food is nice. We always eat here every time we are in NYC. The fifteen bite hotdog is a favourite.
We visited the Diner for lunch on our wedding day with a small number of guests. The staff were exceptionally friendly and gifted us a bottle of champagne on the house. They made us feel like New York royalty! The food was fantastic - diner dishes prepared and cooked to five star standard. I would recommend this venue to anyone who wants to celebrate a special occasion in a iconic part of town or simply wants to enjoy a fantastic meal in a great setting!
My husband and I were visit NYC for a Broadway play. We made a reservation here because it was on the recommended restaurant list from the theatre and it was close to Times Square. We had an excellent breakfast - the Tony Bennett French Toast was delicious!!
Our waiter was the best, had a large group n he remembered everything.
