Food was good and not quite what was expected for a place that has the word "Diner" in it. We truly enjoyed ourselves although the music and noise levels made it difficult to talk that night.
We have eaten at Brooklyn Diner several times before theater. The food is good but the service is uneven. One evening we had a difficult time getting all the meals out on time. This past evening everything went smoothly. We will be dine there again since it is convenient to the theater district and reasonably priced.
My college age daughter requires we visit for breakfast at least once on our yearly visit. This was our first visit to the 43rd Street location. The original pancakes are the best! The table was waiting for us thanks to our Open Table reservation. I do not think the other location accepts reservations and waits for breakfast can take awhile.
The most delicious pastrami sandwich and coleslaw!
This is a great find in the theater district. Prices are a bit high but worth it for the location.
The Brooklyn Diner is a fun place to go before or after the theater. My cousin and I are both from Brooklyn so we had to go. The food, such as diner food, is quite good. I had a lamb burger which was very tasty; my cousin the pastrami. The portions are large. I had a Godiva egg cream which was delicious. The prices are somewhat higher than our Brooklyn diners of yore, but overall good value for the money. There were lots of families, and folks of all ages. It is a good place.
The Lobster Roll was great, desserts are amazing. Service was good. The best part is the location - this second location off Times Square is perfect for theatre dining, before or after matinees or evening shows.
great expereince in the midddle of the action...Times Square
Food and service are always good; they need to remove one or two tables so that it isn't so cramped.
