I cannot say enough positive about Buena Vista Hospice Care. Lori was my dad's primary nurse and she was compassionate, informative and an amazing caregiver. When Lori was not available (every so often she needs to sleep! ;-), the nurses who came over (Cindy, Ashley, Diane and Tahne) were amazing. I loved the fact that if we had a question or concern on the weekends or late at night, they would give us information over the phone and then send a nurse out to check on dad, regardless of the time. My mother entered home hospice last year but only received services for a handful of days before she passed. Even with such a limited time using their services, our experience with the hospice administration, social workers, and visiting nurses was amazing. They were compassionate, responsive, caring, and extremely professional. What was most striking to me was the personal care and concern offered to me and my sister during this time, and afterwards. I am so happy to have chosen Buena Vista for my dear wife's Hospice home care. Valerie had fought Pancreatic Cancer for two years, until the evil disease took over. Everything was arranged by Buena Vista and I was very pleased with the care, understanding and kindness shown to my lovely wife, for the final seven days of her life with us. Buena Vista Hispice care were truly amazing when we needed them for my Dad. They were prompt, had his hospital bed and all supplies he needed at his home before we got home from the hospital. The whole staff were very caring and I would have been lost without them. My Dad passed in Dec and they are still calling me in Feb. to see how my family is doing and continue to offer grief support. I highly recommend them.

Buena Vista hospice nurse (Angela) was incredible. Very knowledgeable and very attentive to our dad. She was there for him and us consistently. Grief counselor was great also! Available as needed and very kind.

My dad had stage 4 lung metastatic lung cancer and had been hospitalized for about a month before he was admitted to a skilled nursing facility. He was rapidly declining so I fin ally made the decision to call Buena Vista Hospice Care. Catherine and the nurse Lori came to the facility to meet with me the same day I called them. Lori was the first health care professional to tell me how quickly my dad's health was declining and we needed to get him home right away as in the next day. My father was admitted to Buena Vista Hospice in 2015 and graduated. In 2019 he had to be readmitted. They are the most compassionate team of health care professionals. Whenever we needed them, they were here. They met all of his needs and the family's. The doctors, nurses, nursing support staff, social worker, and clergy were amazing. After a horrible experience with another hospice group we tried Buena Vista Hospice. They were OUTSTANDING. I can't say enough good things about how caring and understanding they were in caring for my father. They made sure he didn't suffer and were there to guide us through the process in a loving, dignified manner. Carol Ann, and Dr. Bukont were amazing. My mother and I highly recommend them.

I can't emphasize enough how invaluable was the care and attention that was compassionately given to myself and my daughter during our last precious days with my husband Ray K. by BUENA VISTA.
