I rarely write reviews on anything, but after our experience with Buena Vista Hospice, even as exhausted as I am just ten days after my Mom's passing I am hole heartedly recommending them. Mom always said she did not want to die in a hospital. We used Buena Vista Hospice at the recommendation of my father's caregivers and hospital. We are so happy we did. They were very compassionate and caring from the start to end. My father's nurse Cynthia even came by on her day off to see my dad, and then again later that day to drop off more supplies. From the beginning up to the things that needed to be done after passing, they handled everything. This was exactly what we needed at this hugely emotional time.

Paula the music therapist is magical. Paula is sincere and heartwarming ... she connects people to music with a beautiful spirit. Buena Vista is a Hospice company that offers so much more than just clinical care...they truly take care of the whole person mind, body and soul. Thank you Buena Vista for going up and beyond. I am recently retired social worker. After 35 year of hospice experience, Buena Vista hospice is the strongest and most professional in the area. The staff is professional, kind, and exceptionally compassionate. It simply cannot compair to the others.

I can not say enough good things about Buena Vista Hospice. We used them off and on over 4 years for both my Father-in-law and Mother-in-law. The office staff helped with our needs and, if we had a question or concern, they found someone to take care of it. Nurse Nina was particularly kind, as was Luz who came to do the sponge baths. We had a hard struggle with Mom the last month of her life and BV was there to assist us the whole time, right up to the end. My family and I were lucky enough to use Buena Vista Hospice for my 92 year old mom who broke her hip. Nothing was the same after that and she just didn't want to be here any more. They were absolutely the best. I had dealings with many people at Buena Vista and they were all so nice and supportive. They make my mom comfortable and truly cared about her. They have kept in touch with me to make sure I know they are still there for my family and me. After mom passed, they even made me a teddy bear from one of her favorit... read more

My Mother and her family utilized the services provided by Buena Vista Hospice..everyone I encountered at BV was professional, caring and willing to help at any time that was necessary.. They got me through a tremendous time in our family's lives.. I know my mother was comfortable in her final days.....

I have dealt with several different hospice organizations in the last few years - my mom was in hospice care on and off. I moved Mom to Buena Vista Hospice when I brought her to live in a residence here in Thousand Oaks, and only wish I had known about BV sooner. The staff at Buena Vista is incredible - so helpful, warm and caring no matter what the situation. Katie, Diane, Cindy, Danielle and Dr. Krumian ..... such compassion and understanding. The comfort and support this amazing organization provided was beyond anything I could imagine. The staff of Buena Vista Hospice Care was like having a band of angels descend upon our home to guide us through the dying of our loved one. I will be forever grateful for the kindness, care, and compassion this team of people brought to our family.
