Buena Vista has been amazing with my Mom. We've only been with them for three weeks, but in those three weeks my Mom has gone from fully functioning, on palliative care, to hospice, having a few days or less to live. They've immediately answered any questions or concerns, immediately changed my Moms meds as needed for comfort, but the most important thing to me is that they have all been kind and compassionate, not only with my Mother, but with my whole family! I don't really write reviews, but there are few things as important as finding good hospice care for someone you love, and the people at Buena Vista are so amazing that this seemed important to do. It is hard to write about some of this, but I hope it helps someone else make the right decision -- and Buena Vista deserves to be praised and acknowledged for the amazing organization that it is. My mother was in a board and care facility so I was able to see several hospice companies at work. It was disturbing to see how some hospice companies operate like not providing oxygen in the middle of the night when a patient was suffering and needed it for comfort. I saw how Buena Vista's large staff was able to accommodate the needs of the dying patient so when my mom was passing, Buena Vista was the only choice for me. It takes a special kind of person to do the work Buena Vista does. They cared for my 97 year old mother for only two weeks before she passed, but in that time, BVH kept me fully informed, daily, of everything about her condition and what they were doing. I will always be grateful to this fantastic staff. They are professional, sensitive, and compassionate. I am grateful to them.

Buena Vista made my younger sister's transition into hospice care as easy as possible. They met us at the house and made sure she was comfortable before they sat down with me to explain everything and to see if I had any questions. In a time of sadness it is the staff who work at Buena Vista that bring compassion and care to those of us who are saying goodbye to a loved one. I would recommend them in a second to anyone in need of hospice care. They were absolutely amazing and comforting!

I can't say enough about the people at Buena Vista! They are angels on earth! Tina was my father's RN and she is the most awesome person I have met, kind, caring and compassionate. They ordered equipment and medication for my father and it was there in about an hour. Every time we called Buena Vista they answered right away and drove right over to help us. It would be hard to express the depth of my gratitude to the team who helped my dad and I! They moved so fast to provide equipment and services I couldn't believe it!!! Katy and Gaynor answered all my questions and kept me informed all the time. There are not enough words to thank them!

I can't say enough about how wonderful everyone at Buena Vista is. They are so compassionate and truly go above and beyond required care, and they really helped us through a traumatic time. I recommend them to anyone in need of hospice care.

I have worked first hand with the administrators, nurses, social workers and all the caregivers at Buena Vista Hospice for the past 9 years. My experience has been outstanding. I'm so thankful to have such a fantastic organization in the community.
