I would recommend this hospice. We only used them for about 3 weeks. They did an excellent job helping my brother with our dad. They gave us everything that we needed. Thank you!

I highly recommend Buena Vista Hospice. From the very first contact with the staff, everything went very smoothly. The social worker, Gail, made me feel at ease and comfortable, answering all of my questions as to what would happen and what to expect. My wife was on hospice care for about 6 days before she passed away. During that time, we all felt that her care was carefully monitored, she was kept comfortable and without pain. If I could give Buena Vista Hospice 10 stars I would!!! I was with another local hospice and just didn't feel that they were listening or Sensitive to our needs...thank God my friend recommended Buena Vista!!!! I initiated the change just before my mom's passing and I am so thankful that I did... They were there EVERY step of the way!!!! I highly recommend Buena Vista Hospice. Our Aunt only had a short time to benefit from their services but the people were fantastic. Cindy, Diane, her nurse, Valerie were caring and compassionate. I was impressed by all the services offered by Buena Vista Hospice. There were many other people from Buena Vista Hospice that helped us! Their follow up were excellent! We want to thank everyone at Buena Vista Hospice in helping all of us! We truly appreciate it!

Buena Vista Hospice was recommended to me by a care giving service we hired to take care of my mom when she needed around the clock care. My mom died about six weeks later. Everyone at Buena Vista Hospice was incredible from the people we spoke with on the phone to the nurses and care givers that came out to help. They took the best care of my mother. So happy they came in when they did. They were just wonderful. They prayed with her and made her last days comfortable. The staff is amazing. Kenny helped me more than she will ever know. BJ was amazing! All the nurses were just great! They are still apart of our lives after she passed. They make sure we are doing okay even after she is gone. I would recommend them to anyone. If anything ever happens we need hospice again, they are the only ones I would call. Buena Vista has been amazing with my Mom. We've only been with them for three weeks, but in those three weeks my Mom has gone from fully functioning, on palliative care, to hospice, having a few days or less to live. They've immediately answered any questions or concerns, immediately changed my Moms meds as needed for comfort, but the most important thing to me is that they have all been kind and compassionate, not only with my Mother, but with my whole family! I don't really write reviews, but there are few things as important as finding good hospice care for someone you love, and the people at Buena Vista are so amazing that this seemed important to do. It is hard to write about some of this, but I hope it helps someone else make the right decision -- and Buena Vista deserves to be praised and acknowledged for the amazing organization that it is. My mother was in a board and care facility so I was able to see several hospice companies at work. It was disturbing to see how some hospice companies operate like not providing oxygen in the middle of the night when a patient was suffering and needed it for comfort. I saw how Buena Vista's large staff was able to accommodate the needs of the dying patient so when my mom was passing, Buena Vista was the only choice for me.
