Unfortunately there came a time when my sister and I had to make a quick decision to find hospice care for our younger brother. We had a few choices to choose from, and we wanted to make the best decision possible for him. The staff (especially the nurses) were extraordinary in their care of our Mom before and after her passing. Every day they were with us, helping and explaining her transition. We NEVER would have made it through so peacefully without their guidance, tenderness, care and compassion.

My stepmother was in and out of hospice with Buena Vista for almost a year. She was in skilled nursing with a constant care-giver from an outside agency. Hospice did a great job of managing her pain, comfort, and total care. Stacy and nina were wonderful at giving weekly reports on what was happening and supporting the nurses and care givers. The hospice program of keeping people out of the hospital in their final days and giving them the support they need is the best solution in a stressful and trying time.

Buena Vista Hospice was a God-send. The care facility our Mother was in was ready to have her sent to a convalescent hospital due to the amount of care she needed. Buena Vista was recommended to us and stepped in with her care. It was a huge collective sigh when they began. We received regular phone reports and were included in her care decisions. Buena Vista did an amazing job taking care of my wife. They responded immediately to the call that I made at 3AM in order to have is all set up with full care by noon the next day. Ali of the staff that Came to our home were outstanding and gently caring during these trying times. I recommend them highly in all regards including personalized follow up after the passing of your loved one.

Everyone who works at Buena Vista is amazing. Hospice is not an easy decision for anyone. They approached every situation with care, compassion, understanding and love. I could not be more grateful for everything they did and everything they continue to do.

I don't generally write reviews but when I do it is because I feel particularly strong about the subject or issue. I am writing this because of the excellent assistance and care I and my dear friend received through Buena Vista Hospice Care. First, you need to know that I did ask questions and did the research to find the right hospice group for my friend's needs. I definitely recommend Buena Vista Hospice to anyone going through the dying and death of a loved one. They helped my husband be comfortable which helped me and our family be able to deal with his passing. I had left his room for a short time to get something to eat and his daughter stayed with him. When I returned she was able to leave and I was there alone with him. He took a deep breath, slowly let it out and that was the end. What a great hospice company. When we decided we needed hospice, we went with another company and we were very disappointed. We switched to Buena Vista and were very satisfied with their level of attentiveness, care, and genuine nurses. They did a fantastic job, and I highly recommend Buena Vista to anyone in the unfortunate circumstance of needing hospice care for a loved one. They will do a wonderful job for that person and the family.
