This is not your typical veterinary center review. Our dog passed away unexpectedly, and the dog was brought here for cremation and finalization. Despite a very difficult and sad time, they did an absolutely fabulous job of taking care of all of the arrangements and making the process smooth and comfortable during our grieving process. Not only did we get the ashes back in a beautiful box with a condolences letter, but they included two ceramic paw prints as well as a tuft of his hair. Every single member of the Calusa team is friendly and helpful. But the warmth and kindness and brilliance of Dr Andy Turkell is what has me driving from Miami Beach. He's smart, insightful, patient and Jasper just adores him. Over the years , my dogs and I have seen and worked with at least twelve vets in NYC, East Hampton, Maine and Miami; Dr Andy is a one of a kind.

They saved my dog! He has fallen and was not doing well. We were very afraid it was an end to his life but a terrible morning turned into a wonderful day. He is thriving now and I couldn't be happier.
My dog boarded here for 10 days. I couldn't be happier with the care my dog received during his stay! The staff was very professional, accommodating, and friendly. The facility was very clean and designed with dogs' comfort in mind. My dog came home happy, healthy and clearly well-loved. It's obvious the team at Calusa Veterinary Center truly cares about the animals they look after. I highly recommend to anyone looking safe, loving and reliable boarding!

I cannot believe I did not leave a review, having been here several times in the last few years. The waiting area and exam rooms are spotless. The receptionist is receptive and when not harried, pleasant. And most important are the vets and the aides. They have been outstanding. Professional and kind. Dr Dermott has seen Bori a few times. And Bori likes her a lot. Are they expensive? Yes. Very. Very. Very. But most vets are. Would I recommend them? Yes. Oh let me not forget. They actually are available 24/7 for emergency ... read more
