Once again, kudos to Calusa Veterinary Center. Dr Krawitz and his team are highly committed to providing tried and true veterinary care along with access to cutting edge technology and surgical specialists. My West Highland White Terrier had a chronic ear infection. After several treatment modalities, it was discerned she was a highly viable candidate for TECA-BO. Dr. Krawitz arranged the surgical consult with Dr. Jennifer Bibveski, the necessary CT scan, pre-op testing, surgical procedure and overnight admission at all a... read more

I just returned from Calusa Veterinary Center and once again I am amazed at the kindness of all the staff. From the folks at the desk, to the vet techs, and my pup Lucy's vet - Dr. Krane, it is top notch care. I have a very difficult little (68 pounds) girl who needs to be muzzled and sedated to get her through the simplest of visits. No matter how many little extras need to be done they are ready and willing - they make an incredibly stressful situation so much easier. Grateful for every little thing they do. I will never g... read more

Paola and Dr. Fryer made my first experience at Calusa as easy as can be. They gave me constant updates on my injured dog and showed me how to apply and treat his wounds. I could not recommend anyone more than this pet hospital. Thank you for all your work

I am not sure where to start? Compassionate, Professional, Knowledgeable, Patient, Understanding, Mindful.... is the team at Calusa Veterinary Center ("CVC"). After 15 years, my fur baby Max passed last Thursday. Unexpectedly. I was devastated. I brought him in for Emergency Care. In seconds, Max was in the care of the necessary professionals. I had expectations, if you will. CVC, exceeded such. I relied on the knowledge of Dr. Goldberg and Vet Technician, Cornell. I am certain ... MAX and MYSELF couldn't have been... read more

Business response:

Christine, thank you for sharing your heartfelt experience with us. We are deeply sorry for your loss of Max, and we are grateful for the opportunity to care for him during such a difficult time. Your kind words mean the world to us, and we are here for you whenever you need us.

Wish I could give a 10 stars and Exceptional rating! We have been coming to Calusa for nearly 2 decades. Over the years, a dozen cats, 3 were barn cats, and a couple of pups, we currently have 2 kitties, we have run the gamut of veterinary needs, some very rare and serious. Every ounce of attention and detail to our fur babies' health is taken. Dr. Cindy Krane has been and is our primary doctor. She has guided us with knowledge, care and empathy. When we needed specialists, Dr. Krane got us the best (eyes, cardiologist, can... read more

I cannot rave enough about Dr Glotzner. My service golden retriever of 13 years was vomiting undigested food and yellow and white foam all night. I brought Summer in Sunday night . The doctor gave her all the tests and imaging and didn't see anything remarkable. But she suspected something may have been blocking he food to the inteati so she kept her on IV overnight. Thank God because the hydration helped to pass the blockage through. It looked like a piece of plastic...but I realized it was coconut meat which was hard. Sh... read more

Had to bring my cat in the emergency room after digesting garlic which I found out the hard way is poisonous for them. I was very scared and nervous driving there and dreading the process that was ahead of me. As soon as I got there everyone was very nice. The environment was very clean, warm, and welcoming. I only had to wait maybe five minutes before I was taken back and they took my sick kitty to get checked out. They quickly returned with their recommendations and made me feel a lot better. Everyone that worked the... read more

I brought our Micro Bernedoodle puppy, Laila, to Calusa Veterinary Center today for what I suspected was an ear infection. Laila's regular doctor, Dr. Cindy Krane, was away on vacation so I saw Dr. Glotzer instead. We adore Dr. Krane and I had never met Dr. Glotzer, but I was thoroughly impressed with this lovely physician. She was so thorough, patient, and knowledgeable, and her instant connection with Laila was incredibly apparent. Laila's nurse, Elizabeth, who assisted Dr. Glotzer was also wonderful - kind, efficient... read more
