I brought in my toy poodle on a Sunday afternoon and was assisted by Michelle first over the phone who was very helpful. Curtis then took a look at my dog to assess the situation and made me feel like I was in good hands. Dr Fryer helped me to diagnose and discuss the problem and advise a course of action. The entire time they were very transparent about the costs so there were no surprises. They were a wonderful team. I've been taking my cats and kittens to Calusa for almost 20 years and they only get better and better! Last night (a Saturday) I had an emergency visit with my boy Nick. The care given by Dr. Robert Fryer was above-and-beyond and has my highest praise for attention, care, attitude, and genuine concern for 18-month-old Nick. My newly rescued dog became extremely ill. Apparently he came with hookworms, I took Bowie in as an emergency visit. The staff could not have been nicer late in the evening and into the wee hours of the morning. Bowie made such an improvement after the visit and in his treatment & I cannot thank Dr. Johnson and her crew that evening. Highly recommend!!!

We've used CVC three times now for three different cats, one our very old female rescue for dental work, one a male feral for TVNR, and one of our younger male rescues for urinary tract issues. In each case the staff was friendly and compassionate and the doctors communicative and helpful, with one exception (they tested the TVNR candidate for FHIV and euthanized him without giving us the option of adopting him regardless of testing positive). At no point did they try to upsell or otherwise unnecessarily test, though.

I came to see Dr Krane and her nurse Elizabeth was unreal! So professional and so sweet ...my lab mix needed some help with her anxiety and Curtis came in and also was amazing! No one could have done better calming Lily then Elizabeth and Curtis...my experience with them was excellent!

Once again, kudos to Calusa Veterinary Center. Dr Krawitz and his team are highly committed to providing tried and true veterinary care along with access to cutting edge technology and surgical specialists. My West Highland White Terrier had a chronic ear infection. After several treatment modalities, it was discerned she was a highly viable candidate for TECA-BO. I just returned from Calusa Veterinary Center and once again I am amazed at the kindness of all the staff. From the folks at the desk, to the vet techs, and my pup Lucy's vet - Dr. Krane, it is top notch care. I have a very difficult little (68 pounds) girl who needs to be muzzled and sedated to get her through the simplest of visits. Paola and Dr. Fryer made my first experience at Calusa as easy as can be. They gave me constant updates on my injured dog and showed me how to apply and treat his wounds. I could not recommend anyone more than this pet hospital. Thank you for all your work
