This place is awesome. We brought our cat Sara in late night. we had left another "Vet" and they scared the life out of us. (And our wallets..) The vet on-site must have seen that we were at our wits end and just wanted know our baby was okay. did an exam and an ultrasound. Thank god she's just obese with a cold.. He did something remarkable. We we're going to leave her there for treatment as the other place told us. (I did not trust them. I won't name names but never go to a vet inside a pet store..) Dr Turkell and the entire staff at Calusa took incredible care of my Shih Tsu . She has had multiple health issues, and they have enhanced the quality of her life tremendously . They are totally progressive and professional!! From the 24 hour hospital, the pharmacy, grooming, special needs food and treats, I only wish my healthcare was as good!!! No joke. But the people make the place!!!! Thank you Calusa for caring for our precious pets 24/7.
Great care. Professional, knowledge vets, Clean place. If you ever have a problem ask to talk to manager , very caring and understanding ! I had a problem with billing but they made right .

I have been bringing my puppy Kiko here for the past two years and have already left a review about how amazing Calusa is but want to add that Paola is incredible and has made my experience even better so want to include that. She always remembers us when we come in or call and takes the time to ask how Kiko is doing and goes above and beyond by calling to follow up whenever is needed and finding time in Dr Turkell's busy schedule to fit us in or to make sure he gets my message if I have a question. This is a great practice. I highly recommend for everyone. I love Dr. Turkell. Also everyone in the office is fantastic. Special kudos to Paola, she is AMAZING!! anytime you have a question. Do not hesitate to call . She even helped when Dr was away. this is probably the best practice In Boca

My vet diagnosed my dog with diabetes and insisted that I start insulin injections even though she showed no symptoms. in my search for a second opinion, I came across Calusa Vet Center on google. My visit to Calusa exceeded all my expectations. We put the dog on a homemade diet and her sugar stabilized. I can't even begin to imagine what would have happened if I listed to my previous vet. Can't be more pleased with the service and care at Calusa. I've been taking my Shih Tzu there for nearly his whole life. He's almost 15 now. Dr. Krawitz always gives a thorough exam. He is a real partner in my dog's health care, gives great advice about my dog's IVDD condition, and always gives us as much time as we need. Laser therapy with Ellie is my dog's play date appointment! He loves Ellie! (Me, too!) Ellie is another quality member of the Calusa staff. On the positive side DRANEL is an outstanding nurse with a lot of knowledge like a doctor I believe this will be his next steps he explained and helped so much in a time of need he gets the 5 star rating! Otherwise it was so full we were actually ignored it was an emergency situation and it was too long awaiting thank god DRANEL put us at ease and appreciate him
