Calusa gets our top references always. We have been using them for our dogs for 16 years despite the fact that we live in Lake Worth. It's worth the trip. They are knowledgeable and caring especially the owner, Dr. Turkell. He takes wonderful care of our dog!! We have also boarded her there with no problem!!

Calusa Vet center is amazing. By far the best veterinary clinic I encountered in Southern Florida. We have a 'special needs pup' - or so we thought as we were told by other vets at another veterinary hospital in south FL. Thanks to Dr. Turkell and his incredible knowledge, caring and sharp instincts, we were so grateful to learn that our little Maltipoo is healthy and thriving! The personnel at Calusa are excellent, they took care of my Cocker spaniel after I trimmed her nails a little too close. They were helpful on the phone and also when I brought her to them they stopped the bleeding and treated her like their own. I cannot thank them enough for how compassionate and responsive they are, they are excellent and the people are wonderful

The vets here are amazing. The nurses are great. The front desk staff can be a bit short and impatient. Otherwise great care given.

An earth Angel named Rose showed such kindness when we had to put our Angel dog of 14 years down at this facility. People like her deserve only the best in life. Thank you for your sweet and loving words during such a dark time. Will never forget it.

We went to Calusa Vet Hospital after our dog accidentally ate a large amount of rat poison. Everyone took the best care of our boy. Sarah and her team were waiting in the parking lot to take him in for treatment the second the car pulled in the driveway. The veterinarians wasted no time working with poison control to develop a treatment plan, and he left the hospital two days later without showing any symptoms or long term effects. All the staff was amazing and I could tell they really cared about our dog.

Our rescue dog, Chance was abused and is terrified of just about everything. Needless to say, bringing him to the vet was not a pleasant experience for him or I. Since coming to Calusa, i have watched him completely transform. Dr. Dermott & her assistant Tiffany have made him so comfortable that instead of me having to drag him in, he walks comfortably with Tiffany.
