Calusa has been excellent in taking care of my pup. She can be timid at times and scares easily. However, she RUNS to Nurse Ashley every time she sees her, showing me that she gives genuine love and care to my pup. Doctor Turkell and Nurse Ashley have been nothing but professional and reliable in her care. Due to the pandemic, the owners have to wait outside while our pets are taken in to be treated. I can't say enough good things about the care at Calusa. Kai had to go in twice for emergency procedures and Dr. Ruffato was wonderful and caring and took a conservative approach before deciding that surgery was required. Also a special thanks to Paula the nurse. Each of the shift doctors followed up with me on Kai's progress. Kai is doing great thanks to Calusa. I only wish they had more people answering the phone. It sometimes can take a really long time on gold.

I brought my dachshund mix for a physical therapy assessment after he finished 4 weeks of crate rest up north. The entire staff- appointments, vet techs, neurology doc Dr. Dermott- were so kind, professional and efficient. I especially appreciated all of the extra work- getting records from emergency and regular vet up north, mapping out a laser treatment plan and a home exercise plan, and treating a little sore where his IV had been when he was in the hospital which he keeps licking. Dr. Andrew Turkell, is caring, reliable and always there for the care of my 3 fur babies. He's compassionate and honest and I can not say enough wonderful things about Calusa Veterinary Center and their staff. I use Calusa for all me fur babies medical needs, boarding and grooming. My fur babies are safe, loved and always in good care at Calusa with compassion from everyone at the practice. I have now been taking my dogs to Calusa for over 10 years. Dr. Turkell is the best vet! He is extremely knowledgeable, caring and just such a nice person. His staff is also wonderful. I know my dogs are in great hands. Thank you Dr Turkell and Calusa for always being there for my doggies!

I was extremely impressed with how organized and friendly this amazing veterinary center was! I was in tears on the phone after going to other vet offices dumping medication into our dogs. The receptionist was so caring and listened. Then going to the doctor and he listened and came up with a plan to find the answers not mask the problems. So extremely happy and thankful for this place. Thank you!

Brought my parent's dog in for an emergency. Dr. Holts and Carly were honest, friendly and it was a very cost-effective visit at only $147. They removed a bee stinger from my mom's pups paw and gave her a shot of Benadryl. Although we were personally not allowed in the clinic due to the Pandemic they made us feel 100% comfortable. 10 years ago I had taken my own dog in for an emergency and it was pricey but it felt right. Doctor Cindy Krane is a wonderful doctor, taking the time to answer all my questions and explain everything to me. Doctor Krane returns my calls even on her day off. I am very comfortable having doctor Krane as my kitties doctor. I highly recommend her.
Love this place! We just moved to this practice and so pleased. Following strict CDC guidelines while offering exceptional care. The Dr calls you immediately after the visitor, they check in the next day and follow up on all test results. Love they are 24 hours (just in case)
