I would give every category a 5. Harmony Village has been a great experience for my mother. 1. First was the staff's support physically getting my mother in there. Very confusing time for an Alzheimer's patient and they could not have been more supportive. 2. Daily activities have greatly improved my mother's quality of life. The facility is good, clean and close to relatives. The staff is attentive! However, the social activities are not appropriate to my father in law. Mu gather in law is a new resident and still getting acclimated to the new surroundings.
The place is very clean and the staff are friendly and competent.
All at the site were great. From [names removed]in the front office to all the staff who cared for my dad. Even the front office desk staff were wonderful. The level of care was fantastic all the employees seemed very caring. And we're very attentive to my dads needs. I could not say enough good things about my experience with you and your team as well as Care One Harmony village. We would. It have met them if it was not for your team.
It is expensive. But worth it. They were able to set her medication correctly to settle her down. She is not nasty with anyone. Pleasant personality mostly. She is always very clean. Morning showers seem to keep her looking great. She has her own room and it is extremely clean. Also, almost daily activities. She is not just plopped in front of a TV and left for the day.
It should be noted: •the Food Service just changed and while I don't know that the food improved, the new worker's attitudes did. •Aids are friendly and nice, nurses not always on the ball. But when the supervisor of nurses got involved, the care improved immensely. •apparently the person who planned the activities left and the number of activities dropped off dramatically •For residents with mobility & speech issues, there are fewer things for them to participate in, so if they could at least have meals that are enjoyable, ... read more
There is a monthly dementia education group that is led by the dementia educator as well as a monthly memory café group for the community
I have to say since [name removed] took over it’s like a family feeling again and the staff she brought in is excellent. My husband has been there 5 years and this has been the best year and a half. Everyone here cares now. The nurses are wonderful and the aids. God bless them they have some job [name removed]
They took great care of my mom. The nurses and aides really take the time to get to know each of their assigned residents so they can adequately care for them.
