I found Care-One Harmony Village through A Place for Mom. I was looking for memory care for my aunt who lives in NJ. I, however, live in CA. The staff at Harmony Village have been amazing from the start. They took me on a virtual tour…literally using their own cell phone to walk me around the facility. I immediately fell in love with it. I'll tell others about Care One, the facility is # one my list. I don't know what else to say except that the place was excellent.
The facility is clean. Staff very friendly and approachable. My Dad is properly sponge-bathed, fed with very good food and escorted. My only feedback is that not everything was shared upfront on how daily routine is enforced. And my Dad was quickly assessed to be senile. That required him to be in Memory ward and none of that was discussed as a possibility and the additional costs. The staff is attentive and the site is small enough that the director, nurse, receptionist, and aides all know us by name! The care is great-- we chose it because my MIL requires a high level of care and they provide it without adding extra fees for every little things. (She's at the highest level.). The room is clean and sunny. I would recommend it to others.
There was a feeling of comfort and warmth upon entering CareOne Evesham. This feeling was made more pronounced upon meeting [name removed] (director of sales) and other members of the CareOne team. They should genuine concern for my situation. They offered good advice and help.
CareOne has been pretty amazing all things considered. Its a well-staffed and very hi-touch operation/ system. Super professional which I was not expecting.
They keep the center very clean. Plenty of activities and they have a list - bingo(i think daily)- music with some performing-theatre for movies. I think the room sizes are adequate. Some staff members can show moodiness but most of staff are friendly/ professional. There have been times where mom has had her call bell on over 20-25 minutes Managers are approachable
It's great. Staff is approachable and helpful and they take great care of my mom. Her room is always cleaned and she is very happy. It's also great that they have a lot of services available in house including physical therapy a practioner that comes biweekly etc.
The rooms and common areas were very clean & well kept. No complaints there. Activities were plentiful and appropriate for the residents. The food wasn't really that good. While they did offer choices for each meal, it wasn't really the "cuisine" we were promised . Also, we told we could sit and have a meal with mom in the dining room any time.
