I visited CareOne at Somerset Valley. I met with [Names Removed], looking for a place for my sister, who has dementia. They took the time to speak with me about their approach to dementia care. The staff looks for behaviors and triggers that can effect dementia patients negatively. If my sister isn't quite ready to get up in the morning, or she does feel like participating in an activity that is ok. The staff was very helpful and generous. The apartment is very roomy and upgraded. My overall experience was very pleasant.
Everything was great staff was friendly and couldn’t feel more at home for my grandfather! Everything was clean and sanitary along with a well oiled staff. The spirits are high here and it couldn’t be more welcoming
We had a very positive experience at Harmony Village. The facility is clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully maintained. Most importantly, the staff is incredibly kind, compassionate, and attentive.
The staff for the most part is very good, the cleanliness and laundry service good, the food mediocre and the activities for residents are excellent. I feel our overall experience has been positive what I hear from people who have loved ones in other facilities we made the right choice with the Cupola
The staff and care services are very good, and the resident rooms and common areas are maintained well. They also offer offsite field trips for residents and they try to accommodate and assist individual residents as much as possible.
I think the administration and most of the staff really tried to care for my husband. However, there were some nurses in the rehab area downstairs that were truly excellent and others that had a very bad attitude and could care less if they did a good job. The administration was aware of this problem as well. As far as the assisted living area, my husband was there about two weeks when he took a horrendous fall and was very seriously injured.
