Most of the staff and nurses were very nice, but some of the nurses on the rehab unit were very unfriendly and dismissive-would not answer questions or help you. My husband was in both the rehab area and dementia unit--assisted living. Some of the aides in assisted living were excellent - others were fair. I had to monitor his personal care as far as showers and brushing teeth, shaving, etc. In the assisted living unit, he had his own private shower but the PT would not let him get a shower bc they felt he was not able to fo... read more
I give every category a 5. My total experience has been happy, and I have no complaints. I would absolutely recommend Sweetwood of Williamstown to other families based on the experience I have had so far.
I'd say it was very good dealing with dementia patients because it's all they do, and it's one floor dedicated to this, and not just a wing along with other healthcare facilities.
CareOne was much less expensive than the previous 2 facilities I had my mother at. The administrative staff were also much more responsive and helped when it was needed. Especially with paying out of pocket. I would definitely recommend CareOne to others looking.
I recently moved my parents to CareOne Assisted Living in Hamilton, NJ. I can confidently say after visiting several other facilities, it is one of the best assisted living facilities I have encountered. Overall, CareOne is a wonderful place for seniors to live comfortably and with dignity. My loved one was previously a resident at CareOne and the overall experience was okay. Based on the experience, I would recommend CareOne at Parsippany Assisted Living to others.
I would say it's been a godsend for everyone. . The staff, activities and facilities are second to none. My dad was fully against assisted living and now he says he was so wrong, this is the best decision he ever made and is so grateful we found CareOne!
The director [name removed] and the Director of Nursing are newer to this facility but they have been with the company for many years. Since their arrival they have made many improvements in all aspects at the facility. They are amazing. They continue to make positive changes. We have had a very good experience placing our good friend [name removed] at care one social workers have given [name removed] guidance and support. [name removed] seems to be acclimating nicely. The support team made [name removed] transition very smooth.
