We’ve been extremely pleased with the care my aunt receives at Harmony Village. The community is always spotless, the activities are engaging and thoughtfully planned, and the staff is genuinely exceptional. If living independently at home is no longer possible, Harmony Village truly feels like a welcoming and comforting second home.
... for food, meds, cleansing. I'm bedridden and need help getting up . I would like to get out of my room more often. Don't get many visitors. Doctor came by this afternoon (don't see him very often ) and he asked if I was in pain. I said yes in both my shoulders. He prescribed a cream ointment. This was around 3:30 pm. It's now 7:20 pm and I have not yet received anything for my pain.
Both my parents have been at this facility for a year. they are in a room together. the floors are washed, bed made bathroom cleaned everyday. The cleaning staff is wonderful. The aides are very caring and attentive and the med tech [name removed] is great. She is on top of my parents meds and keeps a watchful eye on their needs. The physical therapy dept and the activities staff are also very accessible to talk to. A shout out to [name removed] in activities is great.
The staff here is outstanding: caring, supportive, helpful.
Mom moved from another facility; therefore, we have a point of comparison. We knew we had made the right choice from the moment we arrived. We were greeted by the staff, who accommodated our arrival time. They were attentive, immediately set up her TV, provided us a full orientation of everything we would need to know. My father has been living at Care One of Hamilton for over a year. From the initial tour/visit by the Director of Sales, I knew Care One was the place. They made the move in process extremely smooth, easy, and walked us through it all. From the administration, care, activites, and maintenance teams, everyone has made us and my family member feel very welcome from day one. I will forever be grateful to Harmony Village Care One at Jackson. Making the decision to place my mother in a care facility was one of the hardest decisions of my life. The time [removed names] took with me to discuss the pros and cons was so important. I did not fell like they were “trying to make a sale” I felt like they were going to give me back my mom and allow me to concentrate all of my energy into to being the best daughter I could be. I love this facility so much that I’ve decided to make it my new career!
Everyone there are friendly and courteous and helpful. if you have a question [name removed]Will, gladly answer it for you. They are all very helpful. The place is very clean and also the restrooms. Also, the cook makes very good food.
The place seemed fine, the people seem nice. I have a very difficult time connecting the price tag with the services provided. I will be making other arrangements for my loved one. I don’t find that there was enough stimulation in terms of activities and entertainment to keep my mom active. I found the room to be very small, though it may be comparable to other facilities.
