Get directionsMy overall experience with CareOne in Hamilton was excellent. The staff and administration provided care and support for my Aunt during her stay at the facility. Keeping me informed was a key strength the administration and support staff demonstrated daily. It was a comfort to me to know my Aunt was being well taken care of. CareOne was the best decision I ever made to ensure my Aunt’s wellbeing was being treated professionally and with dignity in her final months.
In a bind, (my future mother in-law [name removed], had just left another rehab, which she didn't like), we were seeking a rehab place after a few falls and a week long stay in a hospital. My grandma moved in three months ago. She loves the food and is enjoying the activities the team i great and really got to know her. Very happy here.
The staff are friendly and enjoy engaging the residents, putting a smile on their faces. Lots of open spaces and grounds available, very welcoming
My grandfather is constantly telling me how much he enjoys staying at this facility. He is always engaging with the staff, residents and activities they host every day. He tells me the food is delicious and that there is no other place he would rather be staying at!
The staff are super responsive and proactive. The place is clean and even smells good.
They are very helpful , in making my wife feel comfortable . They take care of her needs .
My grandma moved into a 1 bedroom apartment at the Cupola when she was an active, vibrant woman with mild cognitive impairment. She lived at the Cupola for 7 1/2 years. Over that time her memory impairment increased and she relocated to a more centrally located studio off the Wagon Wheel. Then eventually to Harmony. The staff there knew and loved her and she trusted and loved them. We were so happy with our home.
It truly depends on which particular staff and team is on. There is an A team and a D team, not much in between. Lack of appropriately staffed and trained care partners with high turnover from nurses causes a negative impact for residents.
