We were originally sold on Harmony Village because they promoted their "Augi" AI system which was to alert the staff if Mom tried to get out of bed. Mom fell twice while there and broke her hip. We told the director that Mom was a fall risk and would try to get out of bed without help regularly. After her second fall (no injuries) the staff recommended we get a floor bed that would lower to the floor at night so she couldn't get out of bed. The aides were wonderful, very patient and kind!
Careone at Livingston is the absolute best place to my mother. She is very happy. I love [name removed]. The director of the facility. She is always approachable open to a policy. Listens and gets the job done kudos. To her we need more people like her who her who are compassionate and empathetic. To what our family members are going through.

Shared common areas are well maintained. Individual rooms could use a remodel. Overall facility is good. The staff is great and my normally picky aunt finds the food delicious.
If you are looking for a good community for someone dealing with dementia or cognitive impairment Care One Jackson is the place to be! I had a loved one who moved in the community and thrived! The activities and design of the community is perfect! The staff is friendly and the building is clean! Management in the community goes above and beyond! My step father, who just turned 86 has been at Harmony Village in Hanover Twp (Whippany) since last October. It is a beautiful place, clean and nicely decorated. The staff is friendly and caring. The admin has been very helpful and cooperative when I have questions. All the residents are at some stage of dementia and the staff is trained to work with them. I haven't had the food and my mom eats but can't say if it's ok or good or excellent. They have a lot including people who come in as well as a van to take residents on rides or shopping or events. When it comes to the value for cost all care is expensive - I believe it's worth the cost and yes we would recommend this community to other families.
