We have switched to Dr. Mangat as our permanent vet and we love him! He takes excellent care of our pets and shares information without any type of snobbery or condescending attitude. Yes, he does have an accent, but seriously... who in the bay area doesn't! The diversity of our population is what makes this place so great. Prices are reasonable and he is always willing to take our calls or see our pets whenever we need help.
Dr. Mangat has taken care of our cats for several years. Even our grumpy cat is very well behaved for the doctor. They are always good about explaining fees and during procedures they don't lump everything into a package, they ask what kind of pain treatment you want and tell you if something is recommended or beneficial but not necessary. He is a very nice man and I would definitely recommend him! Now that we have added a dog to our menagerie I have seen he is just as good with canines too!
Dr. Mangat at Caring Pet Hospital has been our regular vet for about 3 years. Today we had to put our beautiful beagle, Opey, to sleep as he was suffering from a very painful genetic disease. Dr. Mangat was very compassionate when the final decision was made, and he and his assistant were so kind and caring as they helped our little Opey ease into a peaceful sleep in my loving arms. From someone with two dogs who has called Dr. Mangat several times for a same day appointment, I can assure you he is a competent and caring... read more
despite reading other review on this place we had to take our cat there out of money constraints.(we are broke) i was extremely happy with the way we and our cat was treated. they were thoughtful and as the name implies, caring of our and the cats needs. i highly recomend caring pet hospital to anyone who loves their pets.
I've been taking my kitty to this Vet since 2007. I find the vet to be efficient and friendly. His cat-side waiting room is always clean and his receptionist is very friendly and helpful. The exam room is always clean and tidy. The vet is good with our kitty who is scared to death and ready to attack every time he visits, but Dr. Manget is able to gently examine him. I would recommend the Caring Pet Hospital to other cat lovers in South Hayward.
I've always had a good experience here. When I moved to the Bay area I brought my 2 cats in. There are separate doors for cats and dogs, which is nice if you have a pet that can't deal. One of my cats died last year -- we came home from a long vacation and it turned out our little one decided we'd never come back and stopped eating. :( We rushed him to the clinic and the doc did what he could, but our poor kitty didn't last much longer. The doc called us right away, and as we weren't really in a mood to talk from grief, he... read more
Caring Pet is a pretty good affordable vet and they genuinely care about your pet there. Dr. Mangeet is very nice and his practice has reasonable and affordable rates. Their nuetering fee's are reasonable. However, keep in mind that a nueter for your dog or cat means "castration". Unless maybe you can talk to the Dr. about doing that a little differently.
Our pet Boxer is getting on in years and recently became ill. My wife took her to Noble and Caring pet clinic for its proximity to our home. The veterinarian was great. He empathized with our situation and was very honest and forthright in stating that we could spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars but the outcome would most likely be the same. He also referred us to some pet grief counseling services and offered us some choices to make our pooches time left as comfortable as possible. I'm really gonna miss my dog. Tha... read more
horrible vet; gave my brothers dog Librela without telling my brother about the Dec 2024 FDA warnings on adverse events. My brother took his 7 year old dog who was limping to this vet. This vet suggested a new injectable, Librela, monoclonal antibodies. Within 24 hours my brothers dog began having extreme adverse events to Librela. Such as incontinence, loss of muscle control, Spasms, anorexia, lifelessness. (My brother didnt look this medication up before he agreed to let the vet give it to his dog and now he is racked with... read more
